Former NeoGaf moderator and staunchly anti-#GamerGate activist, Christopher “Amir0x” Goldberg has been sentenced to one to two years of state prison time after the judge passed down the verdict. Back in November of 2017, Goldberg had pleaded guilty to multiple counts of possessing child pornography.
Goldberg had been arrested prior to that back in late June of 2017 as part of a sting operation.
According to the Pocono Record, Goldberg must comply to any recommended treatments for his disorder, and must register as a sex offender wherever he takes up residence for the next 15 years, after completing his stint in prison. Goldberg will also not be allowed around children unsupervised and will have limited restricted internet access.
The former NeoGaf moderator told the Judge…
“I hope to take this experience and become a better member of society,”
Goldberg had nude multimedia on his laptop, phone and home computer of prepubescent young girls, and other children aged four through 12 in various states of undress and featured in various fetishes.
Christopher “Amir0x” Goldberg had previously been highly critical and antagonistic toward consumers who supported #GamerGate.
@jimmy_wales @benisbagina It works every time, Jimmy. Inevitably they always get right down to harassment, racism and sexism within mins 😛

@JohnathanMulroo @jimmy_wales The Gamergate movement is little more than the butt end of a flaccid joke incapable of even the slightest win

NeoGaf also lost a lot of its members and staff after sexual misconduct allegations arose against its owner, Tyler Malka.
Malka and Goldberg had been friends for a while, and Malka even helped financially support Goldberg.
After the news initially broke, Malka attempted to distance himself and NeoGaf from Goldberg by banning his account and stating that the staff didn’t know who he was, but the records were proof that Malka’s statements were untrue.
Goldberg is just another in a long line of anti-#GamerGate activists and male feminists who stood against the consumer revolt in hopes of keeping their own dark secrets… secret. Unfortunately for him, all bad deeds eventually come into the light.
