Comic Crusaders Fires SJW Writer For Publicly Defaming Diversity And Comics, Ethan Van Sciver

Comic Crusaders contributor Dusty Good was recently fired on June 25th, 2018 for comments he made aimed at content creators Richard C. Meyer and Ethan Van Sciver. Good’s comments were specifically directed at Meyer’s Diversity & Comics YouTube channel and crowdfunded comic book, Jawbreakers, along with Sciver’s own crowdfunded comic book, Cyberfrog, denigrating them, their work, and their audience.

It started on June 24th, 2018 when Dusty made comments via Twitter, targeting Republicans. A day later, on June 25th, 2018, Dusty zeroed in on Meyer and Sciver, claiming that they were part of the alt-Right, and that they weren’t welcome in the comic book industry.

Love making the Alt-Right trolls dance. They can’t help themselves; they’re idiots. They don’t realize that the more they respond, the more they retweet and tag, the bigger my reach grows. @EthanVanSciver and @DiversityAndCmx goons are the best PR free can buy!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

News flash for the Alt-Right comix trolls. The industry/hobby/craft doesn’t want or need you. You’re not welcome here. The cosplay girls won’t fuck you, the pros absolutely hate you, your fellow fans despise you. Go ahead and continue to circle jerk each other on KS.

Quick! Someone check if David Duke’s grandkids are holding issues of Jawbreakers or Cyber Frog!

Comic Crusaders gave Dusty an ultimatum to either apologize or lose his job.

I was issued an ultimatum by @ComicCrusaders either I issue an apology to @EthanVanSciver and @DiversityAndCmx for my comments or be released from the website.

I would like to officially apologize to the fans that I hurt by no longer writing for @ComicCrusaders .

— Dusty Good (@DangerDusty) June 25, 2018

Dusty, however, refused to apologize and confirmed that he had been let go by Comic Crusaders.

This was also corroborated by Comic Crusaders, who tweeted out on June 25th, 2018 that Dusty was no longer employed at the outlet.

To keep in line with the #”Drama-Free Zone” mission, we have parted ways with @DangerDusty His actions are NOT at all a reflection of what WE stand for! All we want to do is share nerdy/geeky goodness and not shine light on negativity! #PEACE

Ethan Van Sciver didn’t pass up an opportunity to inform his community about Dusty’s SJW antics costing him a job due to virtue signaling via Twitter.

Both Sciver and Meyer have great success with their crowdfunding campaigns, and seeing an SJW writer lose a job for spreading defamation is could make some writers think twice before making false claims about Sciver or Meyer.

You can learn more about Cyberfrog by visiting the IndieGoGo page, where it’s racked up more than $343,000 in backer funds.
