Fight Angel’s Super Sexy Customization Options And Scant Fighting Mechanics Previewed In Video

Red Fox Studio’s Fight Angel is a Bechdel Test-passing fighting game featuring an all-female cast of pugilists engaged in wobbly, jiggly, bouncing combat that’s bound to get a rise of out viewers. One would think that feminists around the world would be cheering in a celebratory fashion at this forward thinking game. But, alas, I imagine many are scoffing and cawing online at the scantily clad attire and gravity-dependent movement that adds a lot of… visual appeal to the game.

While we haven’t heard much about Fight Angel since it was announced back in the mid-March by the Chinese development studio, a new preview video featuring nearly 40 minutes of gameplay was revealed, showcasing Fight Angel’s character customization and modification system, as well as the fighting mechanics. You can check it out below courtesy of Nyanco Channel.

At the start of the video we see that the game has a healthy menu screen, obviously with the Store being at the top. Below that we have Customization, Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Versus Mode, Training Mode, Player Information, Game Manual, and the options menu.

So the game has a basic layout of all the standard modes one would expect from a typical arcade fighter.

Now for some weird reason the clothing and hair customization is actually located in the “Store”. It includes the following options for the characters:

  • Hairstyle
  • Headwear
  • Panty
  • Bras
  • Coat
  • Under
  • Neck
  • Waist
  • Arm
  • Wrist
  • Gloves
  • Thigh
  • Ankle
  • Stockings
  • Shoes
  • Weapon

Fight Angel - Thong

You can select the category over on the left and then select the corresponding item with a separate menu on the right. It’s fairly intuitive and easy to navigate. The color palette is located at the bottom right hand corner, so once you choose the category, and choose the item, you can then very easily and conveniently change the color.

It’s a weird setup because in the store there’s a limited supply of clothes, but in the customization menu there are a lot more clothes to choose from. One thing worth noting is that you get to clearly see the female fighters’ nipples through their shirts, and camel toes are definitely present through their panties, which is a nice little touch.

You get to see the shirts at around the 2:30 mark; the pants at around the 3:10 mark; the dresses at the 4:00 minute mark; and at around the 6:30 mark we see the options for stockings.

Fight Angel - Customization

By the 9:10 mark we finally get to see the body modification and mesh customization. This is located in the Customization option located on the main menu.

Here you can change:

  • Facial Type
  • Chin
  • Eyebrows
  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Mouth
  • Ears
  • Makeup
  • Hairstyle
  • Everybrow Style
  • Eyelash Style
  • Lipstick Style
  • Blush Style
  • Face Patterns
  • Pupil Style
  • Body
  • Chest
  • Body
  • Skin Style
  • Sunburn
  • Tattoo
  • Nail Polish

Much like the clothing store, you can select the category and then use the menu on the right side of the screen to change the sliders for each category. You can also change the camera position and clothing options with a small tab on the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

The customization features are quite in-depth, and you can definitely make some interesting characters and sexy outfits. Just don’t go in expecting something on par to Black Desert Online.

Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the game’s actual fighting, which is sorely lacking. The animations are pretty stiff, the hit detection and collision timing need a lot of tweaking. The combos aren’t terribly impressive, and there are some floating issues with the character grab moves.

Of course, there is still a lot of positives to the game. The boob jiggling is on point, the character models look good, and the clothing damage is a nice touch.

They just need to polish up the game and it might be a decent low-budget boner fighter to pick up at some point down the line. Thankfully Red Fox Studio is putting the game into Early Access at some point in April. You can keep an eye on the game or add it to your wishlist by visiting the Steam store page.
