Twitter Labels #Homocaust Hashtag As “Hateful Content”

Whatever you do, don’t use the #Homocaust hashtag on Twitter. The social media giant has deemed the jocular hashtag as “Hateful Content”.

It was used facetiously during the fallout over the Arthur episode getting banned, and certain people caught wind of it and decided to report it to Twitter.

It was spurred on by the Social Justice brigade on Twitter after May 21st, 2019. The mass reports came in on the morning of May 23rd, 2019 the following day, just after SJWs were alerted to the tweet by users like Kung Fu Man.

Not so sure man. I’m seriously when I say he seems to have a real problem with gay people. pic.twitter.com/dpiyRxam5W

The original tweet from Shaun is still present, but the response was removed by Twitter, after they received reports about the tweet and labeled it as “Hateful Content”.

think you forgot to add #censorship

People believed that the tweet with the hashtag #Homocaust was offensive towards gays. This resulted in a temporary suspension of the One Angry Gamer Twitter account.

The hashtag was a play on the fact that Alabama and Arkansas had banned the Arthur episode featuring a gay rat wedding. Much like how censored games featuring waifus are labeled under the #WaifuHolocaust hashtag, or how banned lolis are tagged under #Lolicaust, the gay rat wedding getting censored was stuffed under the #Homocaust hashtag. However, as indicated above by Twitter users like Kung Fu Man, they were duly offended by the tag and this eventually led to mass reports of the tweet.

This is a common tactic to de-platform those who say things that Social Justice Warriors find offensive. They also use censorship as a bludgeoning tool to stifle and suppress information that exposes the rotten side of the Social Justice movement, such as their penchant to use censorship to silence their opposition.

The irony is even stronger given that the tag was attached to news about the episode of Arthur being censored in Alabama. So SJWs attempted to censor an account reporting on censorship.

As a word of warning, don’t use #Homocaust on Twitter… you’ll be labeled as a dangerous criminal spreading “hateful content”.
