Some supposed leaks of upcoming skins for Mortal Kombat 11 have made their way around the interwebs, and people are talking about the good, the bad, and the granny panties that could be making their way into the game presumably via upcoming DLC.
Twitter user Murdoink was fishing around in the Mortal Kombat 11 PC files the way Stormy Daniels was fishing around Trump’s power slacks for the Commander in Chief, when he came across a selection of skins that many believe will be part of an upcoming update for the fighting game. The images were posted up on Twitter on June 18th, 2019. You can check it out below.

As you can see, many of the characters receive multiple brand new outfits. This includes the “Klassic” costumes for both the males and the females. So kudos to NetherRealm for at least being consistent in that regard.
However, you might notice that while Scorpion, Noob Saibot, and Sub-Zero all have their classic costumes from Mortal Kombat 1, Skarlet’s costume is a “Klassic” costume that never existed. They gave her a leotard, even though that’s not exactly what she wore back when she debuted in Mortal Kombat 9.
They also changed Jade’s costume to reflect what Mileena and Kitana wore in Mortal Kombat 2. If you remember correctly, Jade’s original costume when she was made part of the standard roster was a much sexier leotard swimsuit with a slit in the center to bare her cleavage, and a high-waist cut so the shape of her hips were accentuated.

The only person they actually stayed true to in terms of her “Klassic” actually being a classic is Kitana, who did sport the one piece leotard when she debuted in Mortal Kombat 2 alongside Mileena.
But even still, while NetherRealm did bring back the “Klassic” leotard costumes for some of the ladies, they did so in the most half-arsed way imaginable, giving them granny panties instead of the sexy leotards they sported before. I’m sure the sex-negative regressives on the Left will champion their inclusion, blithely stating “You asked for the Klassic costumes and now you have them, so shut up!”
But as pointed out by Nerdette’s Newstand, some of the costumes do look cool for some of the characters. It’s not as if NetherRealm doesn’t have the ability to make the characters look good, but they choose not to.
In the video we also see some leaked skins for Frost that seem to hearken back to the original leaks for the character where she was bald.
Now keep in mind that just because someone datamines content out of a version of the game doesn’t mean that everything they mine will make it into the game in the next update.
What we do know is that NetherRealm has indeed begun work (or finished work) on the “Klassic” costumes for some of the ladies.
The major problem is that they still lack sex appeal, which seems disturbingly inauspicious for the cultivation of Boner Culture.
The main issue is that the granny panties are not sexy at all, and you can easily see that the lining around the base of the gluteus maximus come low enough so as to prevent any sort of slippage. Essentially the leotards are designed to hide as much of the female buttocks as possible, duly stripping them of the sex appeal they rightfully deserve.
Of course, NetherRealm is converged, and they have mentioned multiple times now that they purposefully de-sexualized the females in the game, calling it more “mature” and “respectful”, all while they made the men look like Playgirl playmates.

What’s also funny is that while the “Klassic” costumes are presumably being made available for some of the female characters, they’re completely tame and they even removed Skarlet’s “Klassic” from Mortal Kombat 9, just as Ed Boon said they would, when he confirmed that the Mortal Kombat 9 costumes and bikinis would not be making it into Mortal Kombat 11.
NetherRealm is essentially rewriting the history for some characters to avoid giving them any sort of sex appeal that straight males would find enticing, further proving that they’re fully converged.
(Thanks for the news tip Nerdette)
