Netflix Teams Up With Gobelins To Send Graduates To Work On Anime In Japan

French art school Gobelins has teamed up with Netflix to promote cross-cultural diversity. They’re doing so by sending graduates from the French school to Japan, who will work with Japanese artists and animators to work on Netflix-original projects.

Anime News Network is reporting that Claire Matz will be the first of this new diversity initiative to make her way to Japan to work full-time as an animator on an upcoming Netflix project. They rolled out a promotional video over on the Gobelins YouTube channel.

In the video Matz explains that she’s been to Japan before but this time she won’t be interning, she’ll be working as an actual animation staffer in a post-graduate program for up to a year. She also mentions that she’s a fan of Trigger, the makers of Kill la Kill, and Little Witch Academia.

John Derderian, Netflix’s overseer of live programming operations in Japan, mentioned in the press release…

“”We want to give talented young animators from around the world the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of the Japanese anime and to put their skills and passion at the service of this world-renowned art form.

“Claire Matz is the pioneer of this initiative and we look forward to working with the amazing teams of animators and artists working in Japan on our next Netflix originals list. “

As mentioned over on the Gobelins website, they won’t just be sending graduates over to Japan to work on Netflix shows, they’ll also be funding up to ten students per year from Africa for four years, in hopes of having them follow in the footsteps of Matz.

It’s like stealth immigration.

Melissa Cobb, the vice president of original animation at Netflix mentioned in the press statement…

“At Netflix, we are excited to support emerging animation talent in countries like France and Japan, as well as the African continent. By helping students integrate with a world-renowned institution such as GOBELINS, we hope to contribute to their career development and the growth of diversity in this industry.”

As we all know, if they can’t force Japan to adopt to their standards, they try to infect Japan from the inside out by sending over immigrants, workers, artists, and interns. That’s Netflix and Gobelins’ latest tactic with getting more foreigners working in Japan’s highly prized animation industry.

For now the foreigners being sent over there are restricted to working on Netflix projects in collaboration with Japanese studios, and only for a year. However, this sets up a perilous precedent and opens a dangerous door that could negatively impact Japan’s industry, just like what we’ve seen happen to the Western animation industry, the Western comic book industry, and the Western gaming industry, all three of which are completely converged by the Intersectional Inquisition. And we all know how deep Netflix is in the regressive agenda.

That’s right, they came for the video game boobs, they ruined fan-service, and now they’re coming for your anime.

We know how it all starts: with “diversity” and “inclusion”. But how does it end? I’ll tell you how it ends, with the hobby being destroyed and studios ending up on the Get Woke; Go Broke Master List.

It may not be this year, or next year, or the year after that, but we already know what happens to industry that begin to focus on “diversity”, and studios like BioWare, Bosskey Productions, and Volition Software are key examples of what not to do. Hopefully Japan continues to keep Netflix at arms’ length to avoid succumbing to the same fate as many Western studios.
