Battletech Cheats Sport God Mode, Kill All Enemies

One of the most anticipated games that came out in 2018 was Harebrained Schemes Battletech. The crowdfunded title was supposed to be a new generation throwback to FASA Studios’ iconic hexagonal, turn-based strategy simulators, but some of the cool core design mechanics ended up being undermined by the studio’s sociopolitical agenda, which threw some of the lore out of the window and began to brandish a paintbrush of disrespect across the faces of gamers. Nevertheless, Battletech still proved to be popular enough to warrant garnering stable audience of gamers. For those of you still playing the game, there are some updated cheats available.

The first cheat trainer can be acquired for free from over on WeMod.com.

The trainer contains the following Battletech cheats:

  • Enable Debug Mode
  • Easy Complete Mission
  • Kill All Enemies
  • Kill Target
  • God Mode

The debug mode gives you access to all of the cheats right out of the gate, so you don’t have to fiddle around with anything more than simply having the WeMod trainer ripe and ready to go.

Some users had complained that the trianer no longer worked following Harebrained Schemes latest update, but STN did some smoothing and some fixing and managed to get the trainer up to date to match the current version of Battletech. So you shouldn’t have any problems using the WeMod trainer.

The second trainer is available for download for free from over on Mr. Antifun’s forum.

The Mr. Antifun trainer features the following Battletech cheats:

  • KillAllEnemies
  • KillFriendly
  • KillTarget
  • Speed
  • KnockdownTarget
  • OverheatTarget
  • DamageLocation

The trainer basically just enables debug mode so you have access to the same kind of cheats as the WeMod trainer. However, they list the various cheats above so you can see that there are additional options in the debug mode such as kill friendly targets, modify the speed of the game, as well as damage specific locations or overheat a target.

You can micromanage the cheats to carry out the kind of effects you want, especially if you’re not entirely enthused about just slapping on the god mode and having a field day blasting through the baddies.

The next trainer is available for download from over on MegaDev.info.

The cheats featured in the Battletech trainer are listed below:

  • Unlimited money (Skirmish)
  • Massive spotter distance
  • Normal spotter distance
  • Massive spotting visibility
  • Normal spotting visibility
  • Low health (Mech)
  • Godmode (Mech)
  • Massive sensor distance
  • Normal sensor distance
  • Maximum stability
  • Mega movement
  • Mega accuracy
  • One-Hit-Kill (Mech)

Basically all of those cheats are very useful, especially the unlimited money one, which is free to use. You will need to become a member to make use of some of the more advanced cheats, such as the ability to one-hit kill enemy mechs. Otherwise, there’s a nice balance between functional cheats and difficulty-altering cheats. For instance, god mode means the game gets a heck of a lot easier for you, but the maximum stability cheat means that if you take too much damage on the legs you won’t have to worry about the prelapsarian effect the mechs go through before crumpling into a heap.

Last but not least is the cheat table available for the Cheat Engine from Fearless Revolution.

The cheat table features the following options for the Battletech trainer:

  • God Mode
  • Temperature
  • Instability
  • Funds
  • No XP Decreasing
  • Protect Selected Building
  • Protect Selected Vehicle
  • Protect Turrets
  • Weak Vehicles
  • Weak Turrets

These are some interesting cheats to say the least. They’re definitely not the standard fare featured in the trainers above, mostly because they offer you the ability to protect or weaken vehicles and turrets, both of which sometimes come into play during the actual missions. The same also applies to the buildings, which also sometimes come into play with the way missions unfold.

Battletech itself was reviewed quite well, and has a rather strong following. However, during the early phases of its launch the developers tried extricating the option to create blonde hair, blue-eyed characters. They were rightfully called out on this and eventually patched the game to include the option.

Unfortunately, it was more than just a lack of character options that plagued the release of Battletech, but a lot of people suffered through the changes just because there hasn’t been a decent game in the series for ages.

Hilariously enough, though, the whole issue about sociopolitical influence faded away quick after one of the designers had to resign following sexual misconduct allegations. Since then the game has stayed low on the radar of controversy, and Harebrained has focused mostly on just keeping the game functional and playable.
