Bandai Namco released the playable demo of Code Vein back on September 3rd, 2019. The demo that is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One folks has gained an update that brings multiplayer, the challenging “Town of Sacrifice” stage, and character customization transfer to the full version.
First and foremost, the PS4 version of Code Vein is still missing the bloodstains on the floor. In other words, the censorship still runs wild like a headless chicken according to YouTuber Rubhen925‘s video:
The Xbox One version still has the blood drops uncensored according to YouTuber Payperboy Channel, but what both console parties have access to is the update that had no release date up until now.

Some people are reporting, though, that the update hasn’t dropped for them. I should note that the update might release later today or some time on the 21st.
Furthermore, the trial version features the Ruined City Underground, character customization, the option to upgrade your weapon(s) and the ability to choose your blood code and Gifts.
Finally, the Xbox One version calls for folks to have 8.59GB of space free while PS4 players need 9GB of free space. In other words, you should have some room to try out the demo and if not, make sure to clear a little space to take part in this free trial.
Lastly, the JRPG known as Code Vein is set to release on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One on next week on September 27th, 2019.
