Epic Games Store Timed Exclusive Untitled Goose Game Is Out Now

Tim Sweeney’s sweet Epic money has led HouseHouse and Panic to waddle their animal stealth sim, Untitled Goose Game, over to the Epic Games Store for one year. Although Control hasn’t hit it off in the mainstream department using the Epic Games Store, we’ll see how Untitled Goose Game fairs given that today is its launch day.

If you don’t know, this game was once advertised on Steam and is now an Epic Games Store timed exclusive, which means Untitled Goose Game is going to stay absent from Steam for an entire year.

Not to say that Steam is without fault, but if you don’t mind throwing your shekels to the Epic Games Store without waiting an entire year, then you can goose around right now.

As for this game’s premise, Untitled Goose Game is a slapstick-stealth-sandbox title that has you messing with villagers. From peoples’ back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, pranks, theft, and honks are the backbone of the wild goose.

Well, if you are looking to jump in and play as a mischievous goose in a quaint town, then you can do so on PC via the Epic Games Store or Nintendo Switch, as shown by the latest launch trailer:

“Untitled Goose Game was developed by House House, published by Panic, and will launch on Nintendo Switch and the Epic Game Store on September 20, 2019.”

If the sales metrics for this game pops up and outlines the Epic Games Store contribution, I would love to see how this game (and others) fair on Sweeney’s store. As of right now, though, no real metrics are up to gauge how Epic exclusives perform besides monthly top charts, analyst, or if the devs spill the beans.

Anyway, if you want to goose around and do things to raise an eyebrow, your ticket to do so is either on the Nintendo Switch or the Epic Games Store for $14.99 before it goes back to its initial price of $19.99.
