Twitch temporarily suspended streamer quqco for wearing a Chun-Li cosplay, based on the popular character from Capcom’s Street Fighter series. What was wrong with the cosplay? Well, they considered it a violation of their community guidelines regarding “sexually suggestive content or activities”.
The tweet from quqco was sent out on September 15th, 2019.
I just got banned again for wearing a Chun Li cosplay. I am fully covered. I don’t understand @TwitchSupport @twitch how is this sexually suggestive content? pic.twitter.com/qP1WoBbZL3

This is actually the second time in a matter of weeks that quqco was banned for sexually suggestive material.
Back on August 30th, 2019 she tweeted out apologies for not being able to attend Twitch Con because she received a temporary ban for having her underwear band on display during a stream.
I’m so disappointed in myself for letting you down, and most of all for letting my tablemate, @SleepyMia145 down. For those who ordered shirts for pick up at TC, I’ll reach out to make sure you receive your shirts. I promise this. (2/2)

Some people have criticized Twitch for inconsistent rule enforcements, especially since various Twitch streamers have been allowed to get away with things like animal abuse, as reported by MSPoweruser.
In other cases people have noted that streamers baring lots of cleavage and having themed content around sex appeal have also escaped unnoticed and unmolested by the hands of Twitch’s moderation.
If I talk about stuff like this I’m the toxic one?🤔 pic.twitter.com/5EefbahMO9

YouTube channels like ItsAGundam consistently point out Twitch’s biased and inconsistent application of its rules against certain streamers, yet it hasn’t seemed to impact the way they handle business at the company,
In this rare case quqco definitely managed to make it on the bad side of Twitch’s staff and seems to be receiving regular temp-bans, but this likely means that it won’t be long before she gets hit with a permanent ban if they continue to find her content in violation of their rules, despite others consistently violating their rules while going unscathed and unpunished.
