Lupiesoft and MangaGamer’s visual novel, Dizzy Hearts Chapter 1, is scheduled to arrive on Steam and the MangaGamer storefront beginning December 5th, 2019 next month.
The announcement came during the New York City Anime Convention over the weekend. They revealed that the game will follow the naively energetic Seriva where she makes the perilous journey into the land of eternal night in order to make new discoveries.
When she gets to the land she lands in the middle of a politically tumultuous time where the queen is about to abjure her throne to princess Mercilla, who doesn’t actually want the throne.
To make matters a lot more interesting, the elves of eternal night are all futas.
Seriva is thrust into a situation where she ends up befriending Mercilla, and put into a precarious position where she can either choose to intervene or watch as things unfold from afar.
Now to be honest, the story sounds more intriguing than how the art looks.
MangaGamer – being the publisher and all – boasts about this being Lupiesoft’s most ambitious project yet, but some of the anatomy seems a little off in some of the character designs, and the coloring seems a little flat in some areas, especially with the way some of the shading is handled for the character skin.
Also, in a few scenes the proportions for some of the characters look less than enticing.
Pre-orders are currently available for the visual novel, but you know how we all feel about pre-ordering around these parts.
Nevertheless, the visual novel will be made available in an all-ages format both on Steam and on the MangaGamer store come December 5th. So no, there will be no explicit sexual content but there will be some ecchi moments sprinkled throughout the experience, along with plenty of chicks with big racks and lots of exposed cleavage if that’s your jam.
