Weekly Recap Nov 23rd: Google Stadia Fails, Jim Cornette Vs NWA, Rise Of Skywalker Walkouts

There are some major ups and downs taking place in the Star Wars fandom. The Mandalorian seems to be doing well, but Rise of the Walker isn’t… if reports about test audiences are to be believed.

Google Stadia’s launch managed to do exactly what people have expected, failed. The device was about as desired by the larger consumer market as a long, wet fart smeared around a tiny room in the dark. This week was a crazy one and some of the Social Justice whiners managed to get their panties in a bunch over some of the most ridiculous stuff imagine. We cover all of that nonsense and more in this November 23rd, 2019 edition of the Weekly Recap.

Richard Lewis One-Two Punches Kotaku And Polygon

Sprite decided that it no longer want to cater its product to people willing to buy soft drinks, and is instead now in the business of peddling LGBTQIA+ propaganda. E-sports journalist Richard Lewis took aim at the media crooks gatekeeping interactive entertainment, calling out by name Polygon and Kotaku for ruining the industry. And speaking of peddling propaganda… Google’s Phil Harrison has been quoted by CNN as having proclaimed that Stadia’s controller is “gender neutral”. Pornhub found out firsthand that despite all their virtue signaling, they’re still not in Paypal’s good graces, and have even been deplatformed by the payment processor. And the Charlie’s Angels reboot and all its feminist preaching hit theaters and after getting woke it went broke.

Star Wars Test Screening Was So Bad Paid Audiences Wanted To Leave

It doesn’t look like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is going to do great if the early test screenings are anything to go by. Audiences apparently got up and left because it was just that bad. Meanwhile, Disney is also suffering from users having their accounts hacked on Disney+, with the hackers changing the usernames and passwords and reselling the accounts for $3 – $11 a pop. Microsoft is still touting how “diverse” and “inclusive” Gears 5 is all while completely ignoring the fact that the sales have been abysmal. In a rare twist, Bandai Namco actually fought back against the scourge that is ResetEra, keeping Hilde’s boob plates in place for Soul Calibur VI despite the autistic screeching coming from the pedo-den. Nintendo is currently duking it out in court over in Germany in an attempt to prevent people from getting refunds on pre-orders. And The Game Awards 2019 nominees have all been listed.

Stadia Got Woke And Goes Broke

Nobody expected Google’s Stadia to be a success. It looked like a woke piece of crap all the way around. Well, it turns out that after getting woke, the Stadia the launch has proven that it’s gone broke. Japanese politician Yamada Taro is taking the next step in raising and elevating the Otaku in Japan to an all new level. How? He’s fighting to remove the censorship imposed by Article 175 in Japan. Steam is still banning games, this time it’s Crime Opera: The Butterfly Effect, and the reason for the ban isn’t even true, but that’s just how things are these days. Wolfeye Studios has been formed and their newest game will be announced at The Game Awards in December. We’ll see what the French studio has to offer when their game debuts at the awards show. And here’s why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare did not release in Russia on the PS4.

Jim Cornette Quits NWA Powerrr After He Gets Censored

Color commentator Jim Cornette quit NWA Powerrr after the executive producer apologized to the Social Justice whiners for one of Cornette’s innocuous comments about Ethiopia, and they decided to chimp out and appease all the little cuckolds on Twitter by censoring the broadcast. Pokemon Sword and Shield received a lot of criticism and pushback from some core fans leading up to release, but the game still seemed to sell quite well on the market, topping more than 6 million during the first week of release. Even after seeing Google’s Stadia fail hard, Amazon still wants to get in on that juicy streaming goodness and now there are rumors flying around that Amazon will launch their own streaming service in 2020. A new Half-Life game that isn’t Half-Life 3 will be launching in March of 2020 called Half-Life: Alyx and it’s going to be a VR exclusive for Valve’s $1,000 Index headset.

Anita Sarkeesian Epic Mandalorian Fail

The week rounded off with everyone’s favorite feminist punching bag making herself ripe for online abuse by attempting to stir outrage over the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. Only, the outrage was mirrored back at her like a laser off a reflective surface when fans of the show pointed out that not only was she wrong about her criticisms, but she made a typo, too! In more news of feminists getting dunked on, the Rooster Teeth vice president was arrested for strangling and attempting to murder his wife. It just goes to show that all the people who stood against Vic Mignogna are actual scumbags. One of the most rape-filled revenge stories coming out of Japan, Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yainaoshi, is getting an anime adaptation in 2020. And speaking of rape… Taimanin Asagi has made a return to Steam in hopes of getting released on Valve’s platform. Google’s Stadia not only has low sales but it’s also burning up Chromecast Ultra units. And Mister Metokur was perma-banned from Patreon because they claimed his trans surgery videos were “hate speech”. That’s Clown World for ya… honk, honk.
