The headline for this iteration of the Weekly Recap doesn’t even come close to capturing all of the nonsense, the wokeness, the silliness, the absurdity, and the honkling that took place on the final week of November.
We kick things off with a hiring sheet for the new BioShock, which is laced from top to bottom with all of the buzzwords from the Left, including red flags like “diversity” and “inclusion”. Kathleen Kennedy, the head over LucasArts, has proven that she doesn’t know a darn thing (or the first thing) about running a business, and she proved without a shadow of a doubt that Star Wars is lost. Even more than that, she openly stated that it’s hard making films because there’s nothing to draw from… because Disney completely killed the expanded universe!
And one of the upsides in the news this week was that Microsoft is not committed to implementing VR into the Project Scarlett out of the gate. This is fantastic news since VR inherently sucks donkey dick.
These stories and more in this November 30th, 2019 edition of the Weekly Recap.
Next BioShock Will Be Woke
2K Games is currently hiring for a new BioShock entry, but it’s not what you think. The hiring description was filled with [current year] jargon about “diversity” and “inclusion”, and it sounds like the game will be following in the footsteps of the studio culture. That’s not to mention that the game will be wrapped up in a live-service gimmick. Google has downplayed the overheating issues that gamers have complained about regarding the Stadia, claiming that the Chromecast Ultras are behaving as usual and Stadia is operating as it should. Hideo Kojima is reportedly working on a new horror game following the launch of Death Stranding. SunnyCon has banned all ahegao clothing at their conventions, and Kathleen Kennedy from LucasArts is completely dumbfounded as to what to do next for Star Wars because she claims there’s no more source material to follow.
Battleborn Servers Shut Down For Good In 2021
If you ever wanted to get in any sort of play-time with Battleborn, you might want to do so now because in 2021 the entire game will go kaput. Nintendo has gone on a rampage against console modding sites, hitting them with DMCAs and getting them removed from Google. It’s almost about as bad as Canadian courts having ISPs to block piracy websites from being reachable by Canadian ISP customers. In more shut down news, Deathgarden: Bloodharvest was not a success and Behaviour Interactive is pulling the plug on the game… soon. Cancel culture cultists have targeted The Quartering and have accused him of yelling a slur. And the next Xbox, currently called Project Scarlett, will not be tapping into the VR gig at all, thankfully.
Media Gatekeepers Are Finally Dying
Kevin did a lengthy editorial that outlines how the fans and fandom are fighting back against the corrupt media gatekeepers, and the toxic creators that oversee all of the gatekeeping. If you have a few beers and a cigarette, this is one worth reading when you get the time. Speaking of gatekeepers… President Trump dropped a new meme as a tweet and the media completely lost their minds over it. You have to see the meme to get it, and basically understand just how stupid the media have become. In more Get Woke; Stay Broke news, Universal decided to hire Elizabeth Banks to direct and star in The Invisible Woman even after her Charlie’s Angels reboot bombed massively at the box office. And one of the producers at Kojima Productions, Kenichiro Imaizumi, decided to part ways with the company after he reportedly couldn’t get along with certain directors. Gaijin Entertainment also decided to joke around with War Thunder by creating a short meme mimicking the Blacked.com ads.
Japanese Artist Harassed Into Deleting Art By SJW
An SJW took to Twitter to harass a Japanese loli artist into erasing all his art. Unfortunately, he did listen to the SJW, calling them “scary”. However, he continued to moderately post content to poke at the hive after getting rid of all his loli art. Speaking of SJWs… there’s a detailed Medium piece that recounts all the corruption surrounding Wikipedia and GamerGate. And on the subject of corruption… it was revealed that the South Korean e-sports industry is all kinds of corrupt, so much so that Congressman Ha Tae Kyung ended up getting involved and called for prosecution against all wrongdoers involved with fraudulent contracts, trade skimming, and abuse at the management level. In very different news, Codemasters has acquired Slightly Mad Studios while Tencent Gaming has taken up 31% of ownership of MOBA-game developer Stunlock Studios. And the crappy Twitter account called Shitty Gamer Takes decided to call it quits, finally ending a two year reign of terror against non-converged gamers who refused to suck the dick of Leftism.
