Fight The Traitors Together Is A PRC Propaganda Game Where You Fight Hong Kong Protestors

There’s a new web browser game you can play via the website Dalaoshu.net where you take on the role of a PRC nationalist fighting against the Hong Kong protestors.

Niche Gamer is reporting that the game, Fight The Traitors Together, sees players taking on hordes of Honk Kong protestors, attempting to silence activists mirrored after some of the real life faces who have appeared duringt he marches, such as Nathan Law and Joshua Wong.

You have some weapons at your disposal such as a baseball bat and flip-flops, or you can pimp-slap the protestors into defeat.

It’s a simple clicker game where the objective is to wipe out all the protestors before they cross the line. The image of Hong Kong is one portrayed as littered with garbage and trash, and the protestors are depicted as evil traitors.

There’s literally nothing else to the game other than simply clicking on the protestors and watching them disappear from the screen. I’m not even sure what the point is of having three different weapons when they all do the same thing.

There are even some cutscenes indicating that the whole uprising in Hong Kong is secretly being funded by Westerners to uproot the national sovereignty of China. You know, it’s the same sort of silliness that was being spread by the media about Russia “hacking the elections”, even though that turned out to be untrue.

It’s pretty obvious this is anti-Hong Kong propaganda used to keep those in the People’s Republic of China in line, as well as to smear the protestors as being violent and unruly, even though there’s plenty of footage of the police enacting unnecessary violence on the people, as depicted in the video featuring police tear-gassing protestors on Christmas Eve, which was uploaded by TIME.

I’m sure the higher-ups at Blizzard and the NBA are cackling with glee seeing people play Fight The Traitors Together.
