Final Fantasy 7 Remake Will Be A Timed Exclusive On PS4 Until March 3rd, 2021

Some new information has been spreading about regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake that Tetsuya Nomura has been working so arduously on over the last several years, and it’s not the kind of news that’s going to go down well with everyone. Basically, the game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4, but only for a year.

I imagine the PlayStation fanboys will be absolutely incensed over the whole ordeal, while non-PlayStation fans will be angered that they have to wait a whole year just to play it on a console that isn’t PlayStation branded.

The news was spread around after the box art for Final Fantasy VII Remake made its way online and it was quickly spread by those who keep a keen eye on all things PlayStation.

As noted by DualShockers, the box art originally was released by Square Enix back in September of 2019, but the most recent update to the box art included the disclaimer about the timed exclusivity of the game being on PlayStation consoles up until 2021.

They don’t say exactly what other platforms the game will arrive on thereafter, but it’s likely safe to assume the game will be cross-generational and appear on the PlayStation 5, the Project Scarlett, and likely for PC.

The good part is that if the game does arrive on Steam it means that modders will have full access to the assets, and will likely take time out to make it a first-order priority to restore Tifa’s boobs and give her some proper boob jiggling physics.

For now, the game appears to only have a launch slate for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. You can look for Final Fantasy VII Remake, complete with Tifa Lockhart’s “restricted” boobs, come March 3rd, 2020.
