Every entertainment dish is accompanied by a side-order of the alphabet soup. That’s what’s happening in today’s society. You can’t escape it. Even fascinating looking projects like Giri/Haji (Duty/Shame), a cross-continental crime-thriller, is still rife with the obnoxious agitprop that’s being taken out of the ideological rectums of these activists like unclean butt beads and lodged down our collective tracheae.
The new trailer for Giri/Haiji seems interesting enough. A detective from Tokyo, Japan is informed that his estranged brother from whence he was once very close to, has supposedly been murdered in a gruesome fashion in London, England. Only, when the detective arrives in London, he finds that not all is at it seems and his brother is actually alive. However, things unfold very rapidly in very violent ways, as one brother is trapped in a lifestyle he can’t get out of, and the other is trying to both uphold the law and protect his family’s bloodline.
You can check out the trailer below.
Notice anything out of the norm?
We have a drop-dead serious crime-thriller that somehow gets interspersed with snippets of a homosexual Asian man sprinkled throughout the near three minute runtime of the trailer, and two lesbians engaged in a lip-locking session.
Why? For what reason?
None of it added to the trailer, nor did it explain anything about the story. However, it was very conspicuously placed in the trailer to let people know that Giri/Haji comes with a side-order of alphabet soup, served up fresh by the chefs working for the Cornhole Commisars.
You’ll note that they do this for just about every show that comes to Netflix, especially shows specifically aimed at casual viewers.
The idea is to try to normalize a fetish; keep feeding people propaganda until they stop recoiling.
Consume without question.
Languish the thought of rebellion.
Silence the inclination for disgust.
This is how subversion works.
You’ll find plenty of people on Twitter, Reddit, and the proverbial Centrists™ championing this either as “representation” or passing it off as “no big deal”, completely missing the point that they’ve become so desensitized to a minority’s sexual fetish that they’ve allowed it to encroach on their values and occupy a space in the flat of their moral architecture because it’s been repeatedly hammered into them that this kind of imagery belongs everywhere; in movies, in television; even in kid’s shows.
Nevertheless, Giri/Haji is set to air on January 10th, 2020 on Netflix.
You’ve been warned.
