It looks like Nintendo and Retro Studios are working with others to bring Metroid Prime 4 to life. Despite the setback on January 25th, 2019, where Metroid Prime 4 faced a reboot due to its current development state toeing the “very challenged” line, the devs currently seem to be searching for extra heads to help with the game’s development.
Both nintendolife.com and YouTuber Doctre81 have information out on Nintendo and Retro Studios’ forthcoming Metroid game insofar that it might come sooner than fans expect due to outsourced work.
The website reiterates that the claims from Doctre81 are seeing the light of day since he believes Retro Studios never works on a game more than a couple of years and can churn out a video game all thanks to the power of “outsourcing.” And now that there’s a job listing fulfilling what he’s saying, Doctre81 believes the game will launch “sooner than later.”
You can watch the following video by said YouTuber right here:
For those of you curious about the day the new job listing went up, Nintendo’s official site has on its career section that the position (Environment Outsourcing Review Artist) surfaced on December 16th. Two days later, awn.com put up the listing on December 18th, 2019.
Seeing that the YouTuber has a connection with industry insight, and it was highlighted in that the site’s report that he also reported that the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was coming to the nifty device months before its announcement, we might see Metroid Prime 4 hit the Switch much earlier than expected.
The last time we reported on this game was back on October 29th, 2019, where Retro Studios snagged Kyle Hefley, a person whose previous work spans from Call of Duty: Black Ops, Sleeping Dogs, Halo 4, and Halo 5: Guardians.
Last but not least, Metroid Prime 4 is due out for the Switch and currently has no release date.
