New Sakura Wars Will Receive Alluring Bikini DLC Jan 23rd, 2020

Sega announced that there’s some new DLC made available alongside the Japanese launch of New Sakura Wars for the PlayStation 4. There’s also some DLC scheduled to release at the end of January in 2020.

The game is still set to release in the West during the second quarter of 2020, but before that time arrives Sega made it known that they will be supplying Japanese gamers with some entertaining forms of DLC to consume, starting with some cat ear costumes for the girls, which are available right now.

Additionally, for those of you who purchase the season pass, which is available right now for the Japanese version of New Sakura Wars, you will automatically receive the swimsuit bikini DLC package for the main cast of characters when it becomes available on January 23rd, 2020.

Alternatively, you’ll be able to purchase the DLC bikini pack for the characters separately for around 800 yen, which is close to around $7.50, but knowing Sega they’ll make it available for $9.99.

The DLC puts each of the main female heroines in different types of bikinis, including one-piece, two piece, swim skirts, and a latex zip-up.

Sakura Wars - Bikini DLC

Sega definitely recognizes that having female characters in the game presented with a measure of sex appeal will keep gamers coming back for more.

If you aren’t sure what the actual gameplay is like then you can check out some of the gameplay streams posted up on YouTube at the moment, like the one from Game Yuna.

Hopefully New Sakura Wars can manage to make its way to the West without undergoing any sort of “localization” revisions due to Sony’s censorship policies.

You can either import the game right now from Japan or wait for it to arrive Stateside come spring, 2020.
