These last few months have seen a lot of good news come from Platinum Games. A few months ago the original director of Okami, Hideki Kamiya and lead environmental designer Ikumi Nakamura teased Okami 2 as being in development.

At the Playstation awards Nier Automata received a player’s choice award and once again Yoko Taro donned his famous costume for the acceptance. Nier Automata has won a few awards for its sound track and game design, but has been largely shunned by the western establishment. It is players who have now rewarded the developer who has shown incredible passion and gratitude towards fans while additionally asking them to zip drive all the porn for his game for easy distribution.
Which later occurred and he thanked them for doing so.
Now courtesy of the Microsoft Store we’ve learned Vanquish Remastered is only months away from release. Coming out February 17th the game will sport 4k graphics and run at 60FPS. For the Xbox version it will also come with achievement, club and cloud support.
Right now it is unknown if the remastered version will also see a Playstation or PC release. From page’s wording it might be a safe assumption that Microsoft will have some form of timed exclusivity. As being remastered for the first time implies there will be a second release, but timed exclusivity for the Xbox Platform.
With the page being completely filled out and still up it is likely an official announcement will be coming shortly.
