Reports have come in that Akiyama Rinko, from Lilith’s mobile gacha game, Action Taimanin, is censored. More accurately, some of her risque costumes have been censored after she was added to the game.
Sankaku Complex did a breakdown of the censorship, showing images and video evidence of the differences between how Rinko’s outfits look on the Android version of the game, and what she looks like in the censored iOS version.
As you can see, her main outfit has a large diamond cutout under her boobs. The outfit now has a dark undersuit covering her skin, very similar to other cases of censorship where lazy textures are applied to censor fictional video game women.
Her second iconic outfit was also censored, where instead of having a slingshot bikini with lots of exposed cleavage and midriff, a black undersuit was added to obscure her feminine wiles.
There’s also some video footage of Rinko’s uncensored outfits courtesy of YouTuber スタッフモアイ, who posted up a near eight minute video showcasing what her outfits originally looked like.
This is nothing new, though.
Lilith also had some of the other outfits censored for the mobile version of the game, as Sankaku pointed out in their article and as we reported on back in late December of 2019.
Most people expected the game to undergo all sorts of cuts and edits given that the original material comes from an H-game series and there was no way the game would be allowed on the Google Play store or the iTunes App Store in its natural state. So quite naturally Lilith had to completely reorient the appeal of the game by removing all the good parts.
That being said, expect the censorship to keep escalating as developers try to weave and twine around a pillar of ever-changing rules that show favoritism toward sex-negative SJWs.
