The first week of January for the new year ushered in the same old, same old. More deplatforming, more censorship, and more of the Left going crazy in real-time.
Nick Monroe managed to put together a comprehensive list of all the major controversies that unfolded throughout the 2010s leading into the new decade, and the week rounded out with more bad news for Disney and the Star Wars brand. These stories and more during the first Weekly Recap of 2020.
More Patreon Deplatforming Inbound
Moderates decide to take aim at One Angry Gamer because they claimed that our article highlighting Valve’s nepotism was “racist”, but Kevin decided to fire back at them. Microsoft will supposedly be aiming to create “AAAA” titles for the Xbox Series X, but just because games have a higher budget doesn’t necessitate that they’re more fun to play. Patreon is about ready to completely deplatform Lewd Logistics because some of the content he draws isn’t consensual, and they can’t have people over the age of 18 seeing naughty images. Japan and South Korea birthrates have hit all-time lows, and Take-Two Interactive is suing modders because they were making a better product than what Take-Two was producing.
The Turbulent 2010s And Controversies In Gaming
Journalist Nick Monroe did a detailed, 16,000 word article about all the major crap that occurred throughout the 2010s. It’s an exhaustive article that covers one ridiculous controversy or another, and well worth a read for anyone who needs to get caught up on all the silliness that transpired over the decade. One of the co-writers for the abysmal Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker decided to blame George Lucas for failing to do their due diligence and write a coherent, enjoyable movie. They also felt they needed at least two movies to tell the whole story. Some stupid WWE fans are incensed that a real-life lesbian wasn’t chosen for a lesbian love-angle involving an already crowded and ridiculous story involving Lana, Rusev, and Bobby Lashley. There’s a new trend revolving around a face-cream that uses semen as a mask… giving a whole new term (and fetish inspiration) for the term “facial”. A bunch of fake reviews have been used to bolster the appeal and presence of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, and Draft Alamo House have been airing drag queen fashion shows before screening Rise of Skywalker, which rightfully angered a lot of parents who brought their kids to the movie theater to see the film.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Leaks Reveal Cross-Dressing Event Is Intact
The demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake leaked ahead of schedule, and it revealed a ton of gameplay mechanics, cinematics, and more. But that’s not the real news… the real news is that dataminers managed to break open the digital hymen of the demo and sift through the contents like a virgin being sifted by prying hands on prom night. What did it reveal? That they will indeed retain the Don Corneo cross-dressing sequence from the original PlayStation release. A live-action version of Voltes V Legacy is in the works and scheduled to air in the Philippines, and so far it doesn’t look bad. In more sad news, Fate/Grand Order: Moonlight/Lostroom was censored but in a very unlikely way. And Sony has some big plans for this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, but we won’t know what those plans are until the big show arrives.
Red Cross Blood Drive Takes A Dive After Abandoning Anime Tiddies
Big boobs can save lives… literally. The Red Cross drive at Comiket 97 took a huge dive in terms of turnout when fewer people showed up after they axed their promotional campaign using Uzaki-chan, given that feminists complained about the Uzaki-chan posters for the Red Cross blood drive. They opted instead to use some plain text advertisements, as well as smaller posters on the side of the bus, but it didn’t get people nearly anywhere near as interested as last time. So technically, if some poor Japanese saps don’t get their blood in time and they die as a result of not having a blood transfusion, it could be because of feminists. Netflix is in hot water yet again, this time for the new series Messiah, which garnered all the wrong attention from Muslims the world around, many of whom flocked to the videos to downrate them and call them blasphemous. It’s a great moment of seeing the Left eat the Left, and there’s nothing but schadenfreude to be had. A modder managed to restore Rachel’s uncensored version of her Fiend costume for Dead or Alive 6, and Collider’s video subsidiary ended up going broke after getting woke.
4Chan: To Catch A Serial Killer
One of the stories that Leftists have been trying to bury all week long is a tale about a self-professed black serial killer that 4chan tracked down and identified after he proclaimed to have let die or purposely killed 11 patients under his care. After gathering the identifying information they sent it to the FBI and even contacted his employers. Doctor Who’s ratings continue to dip and dive as Jodie Whittaker leads the charge in helping the franchise get woke and move closer towards going broke. DICE’s Los Angeles office is being tasked with working on a brand new game, and former Modern Warfare and Titanfall alum Vince Zampella is heading up the charge. And some rumored leaks from behind the scenes of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker attempted to place the blame of the movie’s failure on Disney instead of J.J. Abrams.
