Twitter Called Out For Not Suspending CP Accounts

Twitter is being put into the crosshairs of criticism once again for not being more proactive in suspending accounts spreading child pornography. Some accounts have made it known that the service seems to be sloth-footed when it comes to doing anything about those accounts.

YouTuber and #ComicsGate supporter, That Umbrella Guy, informed his audience about the issue on February 3rd, 2020, and there was a detailed report on the accounts trading the material via The Post Millennial.

Pedophiles seem to be FREELY trading CP on Twitter under #megalink and #megalinktrade.

I screenshot a couple, but there’s a BUNCH out there.

Some argued that the accounts using the tags and sharing the illegal content were honeypots by the FBI and that’s why Twitter probably hasn’t suspended them.

A similar excuse was used years ago during the #PizzaGate blow-up where two hackers uncovered more than 24,000 accounts sharing child pornography out in the open on Twitter. When the original #PizzaGate sub-reddit began cross-referencing the data from those accounts with the information in the Wiki-Leaks e-mails to see if any of the names in the hacker’s cache appeared in the Podesta leak, Twitter promptly banned the two hackers and Reddit had the sub shut down a day later.

It’s a “Nothing to see here, folks” kind of scenario whenever pallets of information surface regarding pedo-rings.

But it’s no surprise that Twitter would avoid actually taking action against those accounts, given that Buzzfeed’s Ryan Broderick – yes, the same Ryan who got Zero Hedge unceremoniously perma-banned from Twitter – is a self-admitted hebephile.

It would be a shame if search engines were able to find this tweet by Ryan Broderick advocating for Hebephilia

Imagine if everyone started tweeting

Not only that, but Broderick was also involved with doxing a young girl, as recounted by Memology 101.

Don’t be shocked if Twitter starts clamping down on anyone who starts bringing up Broderick’s past in an attempt to get him deplatformed in the same way that Twitter banned the hackers who exposed the hacker rings on the platform.

If this really were an FBI sting you would think that they would bring in the people who had the skill to piece together the info to expose the ring rather than get them banned from the platform and shut down any kind of citizen investigation hubs… unless, of course, the FBI is in on it and are protecting the rings.
