Everything is pozzed these days. Every reboot commits sacrilege against the original. Every memory you picked up from past media that you enjoyed is being brandished with pokers labeled “outdated” and pushed aside for woke transmutations deigned to subvert the witless and anger the righteous. If you think that’s hyperbole, just take note that the CW Network will be rebooting the popular Chuck Norris kick’em-up from CBS, Walker: Texas Ranger… only this time around Walker’s younger brother will be a gay “Conservative” and Walker will be partnered up with a tough female ranger.
Variety has a description of the character, who will be played by Keegan Allen from Pretty Little Liars. He’ll be playing opposite of Jared Padalecki, who will take on the lead role of Cordell Walker…
“Allen will play Liam Walker. Described as smart, slightly smug, but with a strong moral compass, Liam is Walker’s younger gay and conservative brother who has been recently promoted to assistant DA. Liam and Walker are close, but Liam gives his brother no shortage of tough love. Liam has always stayed close to home, often sacrificing his personal life in favor of his family duties. In Walker’s absence, he stepped up to take Walker’s kids under his wing. Liam’s close relationship with Walker’s son and daughter makes Walker slightly jealous.”
“Gay and Conservative”? That’s an oxymoron.
As noted by The Blaze, while this is a reboot of the actual Conservative CBS outing of Walker: Texas Ranger, it’s more like a loose reinterpretation designed to further fill the minds of youth with the idea that being gay is all sunshine and roses, all while ignoring the fact that they have the highest rates of sexually transmitted diseases, as reported by the CDC.
That’s not to mention that aids among gay men was practically considered an epidemic at one point, as reported by The Guardian.
I tend to doubt that the CW revision of Walker will address those facts.
They also decided to connaturalize a popular Conservative show instead of making their own, typically because their own original programs themed around subversion and propaganda almost universally fail each and every time. So this is why they have to employ the rule of the three ‘I’s: Infiltrate, Inculcate, and Indoctrinate.
Their main goal is to infiltrate popular franchises and brands, inculcate the masses via subversion, and indoctrinate them with agitprop.
Most Centrists™ will defend these tactics because they’re really Leftists in disguise only pretending to be moderate. So most fans who will be incensed at this changes will likely be shouted down by Centrists on social media as “bigots” and with bad faith arguments that start or end with “you’re just as bad as the SJWs” and “there’s nothing wrong with diversity”.
However, how many properties featuring characters that appeal to the Cornhole Commissars have been race-swapped to white? How many of these characters have been made hetero after they were initially depicted as homo? How many were put into loving, normal relationships involving a husband and a wife raising a child without Left-wing subversion? Exactly.
In any case, based on the description of this Walker reboot it sounds like it’s setting itself up for a one-way trip to the Get Woke, Go Broke Master List.
