The PlayStation Blog has an interview up with Herman Hulst, head of PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, covering a wide variety of topics. However, one of the many things brought up during the exchanging of words was Holst’s PS4 project, Horizon Zero Dawn, heading to PC, a conversation that would send PlayStation fanboys over the edge.
Back in January of this year, the man that I’m not fond of, Jason Schreier, used his social justice connections throughout the gaming industry to source information ahead of time. Schreier noted that Horizon Zero Dawn would come to PC, and it’s now going to land on Steam this summer.
The PlayStation Blog’s interview with Hulst turned fanboys into a salt mine due to the following Q&A session on blog.us.playstation.com:
PlayStation Blog: Speaking of experimentation, there have been rumors of a Horizon Zero Dawn complete edition that might be coming to PC… can you confirm or deny that?
Hulst’s response lies below:
Hulst: Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer…. There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors [Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets] pretty soon.
The official PlayStation blog further questioned Hulst on the world of PC by asking:
PlayStation Blog: PlayStation is no stranger to publishing titles on the PC, but Horizon: Zero Dawn is one of the largest games to make that leap. Is there anything you would say to PlayStation fans? What does it mean for the future?
And here’s Hulst’s response to that question:
Hulst: Sure, I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on.
And to maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC. In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.
The above quotes from the interview spawned the following salt from PlayStation diehards both on the PlayStation’s blog and across Twitter:
why the fuck do you release your games on a platforms that competes with PlayStation? but whatever thank you for saving me money now i’m skipping PS5 and getting your games via torrent

Some Sony boys don’t even want to see Aloy in a bikini due to all the recent indoctrination on the blue brand’s part:
Oh god if I see Aloy in a bikini fighting Thomas the tank engine with a lightsaber I’m gonna lose it!

Some followers don’t even want Horizon Zero Dawn 2 or the PS5 after Hulst broke the news on a PC port:
Good luck selling horizon zero dawn 2 now PlayStation fans doesn’t want it, well at least you might get a few on pc, i know i’m out

The same concept as seen above applies to others too:
Yup, first time in the time and space history I have no reason to buy another Sony console.

In addition to the above, we see yet another fan mad about the third-person action-adventure title coming to PC:
I won’t buy ps5 any more🤬

One of the many PlayStation Blog users, XxasrarxX, couldn’t deal with this news and wants to go back to 2017 to be hyped again for the soy edition of God of War:
“Can’t believe i pre ordered hzd only to see it go to pc. Way to be a disappointment Playstation.
Lately playstation has been disappointing. we still can’t delete multiple friends on psn and ps store is slow. Ps5 details aren’t out yet. Ps plus is required for online and we know you’re just getting free money by doing that. Everything has been a disappointment lately. i wish i could go back to 2017 and be hyped for god of war again.”
Lastly, Quantic Dreams’ games are now on PC and followed by yet another PS4 exclusive: MLB the Show. Let’s not forget about Death Stranding and now Horizon Zero Dawn (the Complete Edition), which are both due out for PC via Steam this summer.
