SubscribeStar Gets Woke, Censures Politically Incorrect Content Creators [Update]

[Update:] Following the publication of the article, SubscribeStar reached out with a response to what transpired with Turd Flinging Monkey. In the message they explained…

“What happened today is simply a matter of misunderstanding and bad choice of words in the email template forwarding the quotations. If you take another look at the screenshot you attached, you will see the quotation marks – this was just a quotation from the complaint letter we received via email and had to deal with. We believe that the reason why this was misunderstood is that it didn’t have any reference to the sender.

“As you may know, we do not monitor activity of our Stars beyond of our platform – it is simply not what we do.

“We want to reiterate that we send these emails just to gain some “ammo” to fight back the complaint in proper terms and with educated basis.

“We are, as before, dedicated to providing the best of possible ways at our disposal to support of the freedom of expression and creativity, as well as we value these things on personal level very much.

“Please, accept our the most sincere apologies for the confusion. We will work hard to improve our communication.”

Turd Flinging Monkey also deleted the old video and updated his response with a new video covering the situation and what happened.

It was a glorious sight to behold, as he brought that dolor dame into the light by brightening up those drab shots of her from the movie Captain Marvel by making her look less like a thunder-clam and more like a coquette. Well, he hasn’t had an easy go of it when it comes to social media, constantly being put in the crosshairs by the same whiners and complainers who go after everyone’s advertisers and sponsors. This time, however, he was hit with a politically correct jab by an unsuspecting assailant… SubscribeStar.

In a video published on March 3rd, 2020, Turd Flinging Monkey published a video on BitChute simply titled “SubscribeStar Gets Woke” and it lives up to the title. The alternative to Patreon sent the content creator an e-mail threatening to shut down his account for making comments in his BitChute videos that they claimed were in violation of their terms of service.

“’…in any shape or form – hatred toward any social or ethnic group, calls for violence or oppression, racial or gender defamation, and/or targets a person or a group by disability, nationality (including citizenship), race, religion, sexual orientation, or skin color will not be published on our Platform. Such materials – upon discovery – will be removed from the Platform, and the profile/account will be suspended with possible future termination.. [quote from Terms of Service of SubscribeStar]

Basically it’s a purity test.

The people who complained about Turd Flinging Monkey’s content are the same people who complain about any and everything they find to be politically incorrect.

As mentioned by Turd Flinging Monkey, the whole point of SubscribeStar was for content creators who no longer wanted to walk on eggshells while dealing with Patreon, who eventually expunged various creators for being politically incorrect or for not kowtowing to the Left’s regressive politics.

Worse yet is that SubscribeStar was already on the receiving end of the very same kind of deplatforming antics that they’re putting at the doorstep of content creators like Turd Flinging Monkey.

Yet the alternative decided to devolve into enforcing political correctness just like its politically correct competitors.
