YouTube Strikes Count Dankula's Account For Already Deleted Nazi Pug Video

A video that was deleted back in September of 2019 has earned content creator and former edge-lord provocateur Count Dankula a strike on YouTube. Yes, a video from the grave is now haunting Dankula’s account even though it’s no longer even available for public viewing.

The news was made public courtesy of a tweet from Count Dankula on March 6th, 2020.

In the tweet he points out that his account was given a strike for a video that YouTube had already removed back on September 3rd, 2019 for allegedly violating YouTube’s community guidelines.

The wierdest thing about this is when the video originall got removed I checked video manager and it wasn’t even in there. So I just assumed youtube fully deleted it.

Turns out it apparently was still there in youtubes servers, I just had no access or visibility of it.

Found the old email. Youtube fully removed the video in September of last year.

Youtube just gave me a strike for a video that doesn’t even exist.

Hey @TeamYouTube your bot is now dishing out strikes for videos that don’t exist. pic.twitter.com/gUtzonjFkm

If you’re unable to see the message in the original tweet, you can view an image of it below.

If you’re curious what the original video was about and what set in motion a court case in the U.K., and international news coverage, you can check out the two and a half minute troll clip video.

This is likely what’s going to become the new target for YouTube when it comes to deplatforming “reformed” Culture Warriors or former anti-SJW pundits.

Many of them no longer post edgy content on YouTube and avoid flagging the video content provider’s AI in order to prevent their channel from becoming demonetized, but as covered by TipsterNews, even the safeguarding of one’s channel and the removal of content YouTube deemed “problematic” wasn’t enough to stave off the piercing point of a community strike.

If Count Dankula got hit with it expect other YouTubers to also get hit with strikes based on already deleted or removed videos.

There’s likely going to be yet another big purge before or around June, which is usually YouTube’s window for performing house cleaning ahead of elections.
