YouTube Terminates Coronavirus Interview While Facebook And Twitter Censor Posts

Big Tech censorship of the coronavirus is getting underway, as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube are taking measures to censor what you’re allowed to see and consume.

Geopolitics & Empire had an interview with Dr. Francis Boyle about the coronavirus and its relation to a man-made biological weapon, but the interview was terminated by YouTube.

The Geopolitics & Empire Twitter account informed their followers about the removal of the video on March 16th, 2020.

Our interview on the #Coronavirus with Dr. #FrancisBoyle (who drafted the Biological Weapons Convention) which had 300,000+ views has just been terminated by #YouTube. You can still find the interview on @bitchute: https://t.co/XeYXQg2UTi pic.twitter.com/mWqOmXmFWo

The video is still available for viewing over on their Bitchute channel, however.

YouTube didn’t explicitly say what part of the guidelines the video violated, but they already informed YouTubers that the bot would be removing videos en masse that don’t violate YouTube’s policies.

Given that YouTube doesn’t provide clarity on the removal of such videos and they’re letting bots remove content at their own discretion, it means a lot of content will be banned from the platform with zero recourse.

But it doesn’t end there.

Some Twitter users are claiming that Twitter is censoring users and content on the platform.

Social media censored the accounts of thousands of conservatives because globalists wanted to convert the #coronavirus into “Trump’s Katrina”. Globalists including @Twitter are complicit in this pandemic, they censored the “fear mongers” when they should have been listening.

Tim Murtaugh, the director of communication for Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, also noted that his tweets were being hidden or marked as “sensitive content”.

Amazing that @twitter is now censoring tweets that include references to the place of origin of the virus. pic.twitter.com/oKxdOUFHsn

Breitbart is also reporting that Facebook was experiencing a “bug” that conveniently removed coronavirus news that was labeled as “spam”.

Breitbart provided evidence that various news outlets covering the virus had their content hidden as part of Facebook’s anti-spam filter.

.@Facebook your review system is broken AF — This is the 3rd in two weeks “GOES AGAINST OUR COMMUNITY STANDARDS” for a share from a known publication.

Like this one? An @Upworthy post about #GenX w the Breakfast Club movie as the photo? WT? And the others are about the same. pic.twitter.com/CL1jRSz5uO

Seems @Facebook needs to revisit how they classify spam during a pandemic pic.twitter.com/OdcQ5tZEGW

Incredible. @Facebook said my post of this Dallas Morning News article highlighting that two people in their 20s and 30s are in critical care in Dallas County and that young people aren’t invincible went against their guidelines and was removed.https://t.co/HqoIdzzcSi

Facebook’s vice president of integrity, Guy Rosen, publicly stated that the issue was caused by a “bug” in Facebook’s system that was marking coronavirus news as “spam”.

He responded to a tweet from former Facebook chief security officer, Alex Stamos, who put the blame on machine learning going crazy on its own since Facebook sent most of its staff home to prevent further spread of the virus. On March 17th, 2020 Rosen tweeted the following.

We’re on this – this is a bug in an anti-spam system, unrelated to any changes in our content moderator workforce. We’re in the process of fixing and bringing all these posts back. More soon.

— Guy Rosen (@guyro) March 17, 2020

We’ve restored all the posts that were incorrectly removed, which included posts on all topics – not just those related to COVID-19. This was an issue with an automated system that removes links to abusive websites, but incorrectly removed a lot of other posts too.

YouTube, Google, Twitter, and Facebook all publicly claimed that they would be instituting measures to reduce the spread of misinformation regarding the coronavirus. YouTube had at one point demonetized every video that even mentioned the coronavirus in an attempt to reduce content creators from making videos about the epidemic. They eventually relaxed the rules, but not before a lot of content creators had their content unceremoniously demonetized.

Twitter has been banning users that they claim are engaging in “platform manipulation” regarding the coverage of news surrounding the coronavirus. One such victim was alternative media outlet Zero Hedge.

Even Reddit got in on the action, with various sub-reddits banning both Russia Today and Zero Hedge.

There’s basically a lockdown on information being administered by Big Tech… while President Trump continues to “monitor the situation” regarding Big Tech censorship while sitting comfortably in his Betili recliner.
