It looks like Capcom wants to know if fans want another new Resident Evil remake and if they’ll buy it. As it stands now, this information comes from a recent report that covers a survey issued out by Capcom.
That’s correct, after the release of Resident Evil 2 Remake and the most recent Resident Evil 3 Remake, it looks like Capcom is still looking to churn out even more remakes of said series.
We know this thanks to website twistedvoxel.com, which reports on a survey looking for feedback regarding fans’ thoughts on buying another remake and which game in the series do they want to see get the current year touch-up.
If you don’t believe any of the above, the publication site offered the following image that shows the survey limited to Asia:
If you can’t see the above image, here’s a written version:
If a new remake title of “Resident Evil” series is released, would you like to purchase?
- I will purchase the game even if I had to buy a new console
- I will purchase the game if it can be played on the console I own
- I will wait and consider purchasing after the release
- I have no intention of purchasing the game, but I want to play
- I do not want to play anymore
At this point, if Capcom decides to go with a random Resident Evil game from the past (or a specific one) and then modernized it, expect full-on current year and SJW content with no shame seeing that Resident Evil 3 Remake stands as an obvious indication.
Honestly, if current year Capcom revisits the past to bring something into the future, it’s worth advising anyone not to hold their breath when it comes to the company remaking a Resident Evil game free of social justice.
Oh, and expect double standards to reach yet another ridiculous level, much like Resident Evil 3 Remake changing Jill Valentine’s outfit to remove any sex appeal so that she doesn’t look “unconformable” during a zombie apocalypse.
With that said, what do you think of Capcom’s latest survey wanting to know if fans would buy a new remake of a Resident Evil game?
