DCEU's Aquaman 2 Will Reportedly Feature Openly Gay Aqualad

The DCEU had an opportunity to overtake Marvel’s Cinematic Universe by focusing on making quality movies that were different from the campy schlock that the red brand was pushing out, but instead of directing their attention toward quality stories and content, they’ve also decided to jump in on the woke parade and will feature an openly gay Aqualad in the Aquaman sequel, according to some reports.

We Got This Covered is reporting that for the next Aquaman movie, they’re already positioning a replacement for Jason Momoa’s well-received and quite beloved Aquaman, only this time his successor is going to be gay.

In the article they explain…

“The way it’ll go down, we’re told, is that Arthur will continue to serve as king but he’ll hand the role of Aquaman over to Kaldur’ahm AKA Aqualad. Kaldur will then be the new face of the franchise. Of course, this plotline is inspired by the recent Young Justice: Outsiders, the third season of the DC Universe animated series, in which the same switchover played out. And, as in The New 52 comics, Kaldur will be portrayed as openly gay, with sources saying the intention is to find an openly gay actor to play him.”

There’s a lot to break down here.

First of all, there’s no confirmation that DC will go this route with the Aquaman sequel. What we do know is that the movie is already greenlit and scheduled to release in 2022, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Details on the film’s plot have been under wraps, though, and We Got This Covered is the first to report on the gay angle for Aqualad.

Also, for every Centrist™ out there who says “Aqualad was always gay!” that’s an out and out lie.

Aqualad was not always gay. In fact, he was heterosexual up until the third season of Young Justice. During the cartoon they made Kaldur, AKA Aqualad, gay.

They also made another character a bisexual Muslim, indicating that DC really is going off into the same deep-end as Marvel.

While it’s easy to pass it off that We Got This Covered may have heard wrong from their insiders, given the way Marvel and DC have been going, making a bunch of characters gay and lesbian degenerates, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they wanted to hand off the Aquaman live-action franchise to a gay black man as part of their woke agenda.
