Guerrilla journalist Mike Cernovich did a documentary about the effects and dangers of misinformation during the age of fake news media. The documentary is called Hoaxed: Everything They Told You Is A Lie. It has an accompanying paperback book as well. However, you won’t be able to watch the documentary on Amazon any longer because it’s been censored from the platform.
If you visit the Amazon Prime page there’s a notice up that reads…
“Our agreements with the content provider don’t allow purchases of this title at this time.”
If you attempt to access the cache from Google it’s from April 10th, 2020, so any past versions of the page before the removal have already been scrubbed.

However, the removal from Amazon Prime actually occurred on April 9th, 2020, as reported on Cernovich’s official website.
Interestingly enough, both the Kindle and paperback version of the book are still available for purchase over on the Amazon store page for $10.00.
The book and the documentary do a deep dive into the mainstream medias twist and turns on general, social, enthusiast, and political information that has turned the world on its head. Said fake news has been propagated and elevated by Big Tech, which includes platforms such as Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and even Amazon.
It’s not hard to see why the company would want to censor the film and limit the exposure for who gets to watch it.
You can check out the trailer below to get a snapshot of what Cernovich, Jon du Toit, and Scooter Downey attempt to get across to viewers in the documentary.
For anyone claiming that the rights holders were responsible for scuttling the film’s availability on Amazon, and that Amazon was just following orders, Cernovich debunks that on his website with two terse sentences…
“That’s spin for Amazon banned the film as Amazon has all rights to sell / distribute it.
“Others have told me that Amazon has begun removing Hoaxed from the devices of purchasers.”
As reported by The Post Millennial, Cernovich was neither contacted nor informed by Amazon as to why they pulled the film.
Amazon also did not return a request for comment from The Post Millennial regarding the censorship of Hoaxed.
The film is still available to purchase from the following digital outfits:
