XCOM: Chimera Squad Is A Pro Open-Borders, Woman-Power SJW Spin-Off

I nearly threw up watching the new trailers for the spin-off game for Firaxis’ XCOM called XCOM: Chimera Squad. The game basically encapsulates everything any normal person hates about the Liberal-ran media: lesbian looking leaders with shaved heads commanding men on the frontlines of battle, a pro open-borders message about living among (literal) illegal aliens in peace, and basically the erasure of straight white males, despite them being the target audience for strategy games (and Asians).

Firaxis and 2K Games released a couple of new trailers for the budget-priced spin-off of XCOM called Chimera Squad, where you no longer get to create your own squad of soldiers, but instead you have to play as prefixed characters that consist of a variety of female POCkers and alien soldiers, each with their own unique abilities. Straight males are now the rarity among the team, which is lead by a masculine looking black woman, by the way.

You can see the announcement trailer below.

I’m sure a bunch of Centrists™ will run to the defense of the game, claiming “There is no agenda!” all while ignoring the fact that they’re openly promoting peace among illegal immigrants. They’ll respond with “It’s just a game, bro!” while ignoring that the game could have been about a few rogue aliens joining the Chimera unit to hunt down terrorist aliens instead of trying to promote a message of peace among those who have no right to be where they are.

Centrists™ will ignore that part of the argument to fall back on “It’s their decision!” and to that we can rightly agree: it is their decision, and their decision chiefly falls in line with the Left’s push for open borders.

The game is also filled with lesbian-looking female characters who are all tough, masculine, and have the typical degenerate shaved sides.

Expect more Centrists™ to jump out and say “There’s nothing wrong with their hair!”, which is sort of what Jeremy from Geeks + Gamers is going through right now with all of the Disney simps and cuckolds running to the defense of the seventh season of Disney’s The Clone Wars.

If you’re out of the loop on that mess, there’s a video from Geeks + Gamers covering all of that nonsense that you can check out below.

But lets leave that tangent on the highway of Liberal degeneracy.

Back on topic, even if the shaved hair, butch-looking POC females they showcased in the trailer aren’t lesbians, I’m sure the one nerdy looking white female probably is. That’s what they did in Agents of Mayhem, where the seemingly girl-next-door dispatcher named Agent Friday was actually in a lesbian relationship with the masculine black female soldier, Braddock, as confirmed on the character wiki.

There was also a hilarious argument about the topic on the Steam forums ahead of the game’s release where user Htimez2 rightly called out that adding a bunch of lesbians to your game isn’t going to result in them buying the game since they barely make up a percentage of the population and most of them don’t play third-person shooters. This turned out to be an easily prophetic truth as Agents of Mayhem sales tanked and the game ended up on the Get Woke, Go Broke Master List.

Don’t be shocked if it’s literally the same thing here, especially given that you don’t get to create your own characters in Chimera Squad, you’re given characters to play. So if they want to shove their LGBTQIA+ agenda down your throat they’ll be able to do so since you can’t get rid of any of the agents you’re assigned.

Also, this has an effect on the permadeath feature that used to be in XCOM games; it’s gone.

As mentioned in the gameplay trailer for XCOM: Chimera Squad, they axed the permadeath because, as mentioned, you’re playing as preset characters with story-related elements so if one of your squad dies, you have to restart the mission.

I would imagine this is likely to do with the fact that there’s going to be a betrayal at some point in the game and the character that commits the betrayal has to live up to that point. That, or a character gets captured and has to be rescued, or something to the effect where there’s an immutable plot point that has to be played out to its conclusion that involves one (or several) of the Chimera Squad.

Anyway, this whole push to put female POCkers in roles of rulership and authority when it comes to military enforcement is ridiculous.

They did a similar thing with Total War: Rome 2, and gamers fired back by making a mod to remove the female generals from the game. This resulted in Creative Assembly telling people that if they didn’t like the female generals in the game they shouldn’t buy the game.

Wasteland 3 is also moving along the exact same ideological trajectory as the aforementioned games, with female leaders, POCkers out the wazoo, and homosexuals all over the post-apocalyptic wasteland.

If Firaxis and 2K think that they’re going to make big bucks on lesbians and POCkers they have another thing coming.

Women don’t like turn-based strategy games. Well, 11% of them do.

Quantic Foundry did a report on this years ago, along with various other marketing firms.

Their data seemed to match up along with another market report from DeltaDNA , who also revealed that out of the 9 million players they gathered data on, only a third of the female audience on mobile devices played free strategy games.

That number dwindles even more – as indicated by Quantic Foundry – when you account for the amount of female gamers willing to pay for turn-based strategy games.

So Firaxis and 2K Games are essentially attempting to court 11% of the consumer buyers market with XCOM: Chimera Squad. And that number shrinks even more when you account for the fact that 67% of the gaming demographic lean white, as reported by Statista, which means that female POCkers are an even smaller percentage of the 11% of females who do play turn-based strategy games.

Simply put: The facts show that they’re trying to cater games toward women (especially of color) who don’t play them, which will likely result in the game tanking.

XCOM: Chimera Squad is basically a Liberal Progressive’s wet dream in the form of a turn-based strategy game. It’s pro open-borders, pro illegal aliens, pro strong women, pro lesbian haircuts, and diversity. Unfortunately a lot of fans will buy it up because they’re already invested in the franchise, so they’ll overlook all the obvious signs of convergence in order to support the brand.

It will be interesting to see what the sales look like for XCOM: Chimera Squad when it releases on April 24th near the end of the month.
