Buzzfeed’s dedicated operations in the United Kingdom and Australia are being shut down. The news has slipped out and much to the disappointment of Leftists and propagandists (which is basically the same thing). A tweet from the Press Gazette made it known on May 13th, 2020 that Buzzfeed U.K., and Australia were no more.
NEW: Buzzfeed will no longer run a dedicated UK or Australian news operation, resulting in staff being furloughed and stood down. Some UK staff will be retained to cover global news for the US. The decision has been made “both for economic and strategic reasons”, a spox said.

A more detailed article from the U.K., outfit The Standard reported that due to economic reasons, the company would be focusing their operations in the U.S.
A spokesperson told The Standard…
“Both for economic and strategic reasons, we are going to focus on news that hits big in the United States during this difficult period.
“Therefore, we will notify staff in the UK and Australia that we are not planning to cover local news in those countries.
“We will be consulting with employees on our plans regarding furloughs and stand-downs in these regions.”
The cutbacks basically show that pushing Leftist propaganda nonstop wasn’t enough to pay for the operations abroad.

While getting woke and going broke is certainly good news for normal people, it’s just another hiccup in the ever-growing propaganda machine by the establishment.
Either the propaganda peddlers will move elsewhere and keep doing what they’re doing, or gain venture capital from another Silicon Valley outfit that will inject millions into yet another woke, millennial vertical that will crash and burn half a decade from now. We’ve seen it happen so often that it’s practically clockwork at this point.
The only upside to this news is that we get to add another entry to the Get Woke, Go Broke Master List.
