Arc System Works and Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Versus, the Unreal Engine 4-powered fighting game, has managed to move 350,000 units, and is fast on its way to toward the halfway mark to a million.
Siliconera picked up the news from a tweet made by the official Granblue Fantasy: Versus Twitter account, where they revealed to their Japanese followers that the game has shipped and sold via digital distribution 350,000 copies across PS4 and PC.
多くの皆様にご愛顧いただき、GBVSは全世界35万本セールスを突破いたしました!ありがとうございます!
DLC「ゾーイ」の配信も間近!今後もまだまだアップデートを予定しておりますのでお楽しみに!

As they mentioned in the tweet, the number includes packaged ship sales at retailers as well as digital sales across PC and PS4, just in case anyone was wondering about the discrepancy between shipped and sold.
They also pimp the Zoe DLC in the tweet, which is currently available.
Zooey was originally revealed as a playable character back in March of this year during the launch of the game in the West.
You can check out the trailer for the character below.
The game didn’t suffer from a bit of censorship that was able to be done away with by actually playing through the game, but modders took things a step further and decided to go ahead and make nude mods available for Arc System Works’ latest fighting game.
Arc System Works seems to have found a niche with making anime-style fighting games using their UE4 filter and custom per-character shader to recreate the look and feel of the anime and manga in the form of a video game. It worked out well enough for Dragon Ball FighterZ and also the newer Guilty Gear games.
I imagine Arc System will keep riding this wave of Unreal Engine 4-powered titles until the sales dip, but for now it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening anytime soon.
