There is some good news and bad news on the copyright and DMCA abuse front of this whole Last of Us: Part II saga. So first up, Mara Jade, who goes by the YouTube handle Jade Shadow, had her channel copyright struck by Naughty Dog and Sony for discussing their copyright abuse to plug any negative discussion about The Last of Us: Part II.
On May 4th, 2020, four hours after uploading a video discussing the copyright and DMCA abuse by the aforementioned companies, Jade’s video was struck down and removed from YouTube.

The interesting thing about it is that the video title has nothing to do with The Last of Us: Part II, and according to some reports it was simply Jade reading over an article about Sony and Naughty Dog abusing the system to stifle any dissent against their agenda.

Jade Shadow published her own video about the copyright strike that she received on the channel.
The video clocks in at just under 10 minutes, which you can check out below.
It brings one to question if Naughty Dog and Sony are actually now just targeting anyone who is critical of them as companies?
However, this abuse is not going unchallenged.
Mr H Reviews had his channel affected as well, with one of his videos being struck and removed from YouTube. However, he challenged the copyright strike and managed to come out victorious.

On May 5th, 2020 Mr H Reviews posted up a 13 minute video discussing his situation, explaining how he challenged the copyright strike and managed to come out on top.
You can check out the video below where he explains what happened and how he fought back.
HeelVsBabyFace also managed to win against the copyright strike by getting one of his videos reinstated.
He explained in a near 13 minute video that he managed to get the copyright strike removed against the channel. However, he also explains that he was unable to get the copyright claims removed from the video. The company representing Sony filed multiple claims against the video, so it’s still not available for viewing for the general public.
Basically, on the up and up, some YouTubers are fighting back against the copyright strikes and DMCA takedowns.
This all comes on the heels of Naughty Dog vice president and creative director for The Last of Us: Part II, Neil Druckmann, making a public message about the game going gold and trying to rally hype and support from fans.
That Instagram video had the comments disabled.
I’m really curious how well this will affect the sales among the general public.
Will enough normies be aware of all of the anti-consumer bullcrap that Naughty Dog and Sony pulled in order to protect their not-so-golden goose? Will normies still buy the game even though people have been making it known that The Last of Us: Part II is an agenda-driven game about pushing Left-wing politics down their throats? Will normies even care?
It’s going to be a wild ride leading up to June 19th when the PlayStation 4 exclusive launches both at retail and on the PlayStation Store.
Hopefully YouTubers won’t let the general public forget what lengths both Naughty Dog and Sony went through to silence criticism and censor any kind of pushback from people who weren’t on board with their propaganda.
