MangaKamen, an artist and YouTuber who has a budding following and regularly pumps out wholesome and lewd artwork alike, found himself on the wrong end of the censorship stick when he was banned from the Ratchet & Clank sub-reddit for posting a fully-clothed drawing of the gender-swampped version of Ratchet from the upcoming PS5 exclusive, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Specifically, MangaKamen drew a picture of the female Lombax, sure to catch the attention of furry degenerates around the web, but the moderators of /r/RatchetAndClank/ claimed that the image consisted of “over sexualizing” the character, and hence, he was permanently banned from the community.
So what was the image that netted him the ban?
Well, it wasn’t even all that provocative. It was simply the gender-swapped version of Ratchet lying down on her tummy with one leg in the air and the angle fixated on her round, but clothed, rump.

So giving a female character a plump derriere is now grounds for getting banned from the Rachet & Clank sub-reddit.
The ridiculousness of the perma-banned prompted MangaKamen to do a video about the matter, which you can view below.
Now there is a rule over on the Ratchet & Clank sub-reddit about not “over sexualizing” the characters. If you check the sidebar, it reads…
“No over-sexualization of characters, voice actors, developers, or anyone else. The games have innuendo, so keep the humor at a slight level.”
Most people would presume this means keeping the art SFW and avoiding content that veers into NSFW territory. The image above is completely safe for work, and by no means can imagine how someone could consider it not safe for work.
Anyway, they don’t specify what exactly makes MangaKamen’s artwork “over sexualized”, but I’m guessing it’s because the image draws some attention to her buttocks, and anything that might get the over-sensitive mods stirring in the nether regions that shant be touched is enough for them to drop the banhammer on users and images alike.
MangaKamen also pointed out that before the modertaors even touched his post, the auto-moderator had already removed it.
Basically, don’t go to Reddit if you have some cool artwork to share because they’ll just remove it and perma-ban you for it if gets their gonads stirring in any way, shape or form.
