Even the sand-tanned kin of the Social Justice movement aren’t safe from the wildly swinging pendulum that sees to sever any instance of normalcy, decency, or employment proficiency within Western industries. This was made evident with the fact that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s Arab creative director, Ashraf Ismail, had to step down after charges of misconduct were leveled at him by the adjudicators of the kangaroo court that is social media.
The news started with images posted by Twitter user Matronedea, who accused Ismail of misconduct on June 21st, 2020.
This person is married. When he starts a relationship with you, know he’s married. This is why he doesn’t want to talk on the phone or facetime or have things sent to his home. His marriage has been confirmed by 3 people. I was with him for a year on and off before finding out. pic.twitter.com/eomqLCXZTu

Ismail proceeded to step down on June 24th, 2020 following the allegations.
WCCF Tech quoted his tweets, where Ismail wrote…
“I am stepping down from my beloved project to properly deal with the personal issues in my life. The lives of my family and my own are shattered. I am deeply sorry to everyone hurt in this. […] There are hundreds of talented, passionate people striving to build an experience for you that do not deserve to be associated with this. I wish them all the best.”
Previous to this, Ismail also worked as the creative director on Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which was set during ancient Egypt. It was a turning point for the franchise moving into loot-and-grind RPG territory instead of being an open-world stealth game.
YouTuber Hoeg Law also tackled the subject matter, which you can check out below.
Nevertheless, Ubisoft also provided a statement to IGN, where they reiterated that Ismail is no longer working on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
In the statement, Ubisoft said…
“Ashraf Ismail is stepping down from the project to take a leave of absence. The development team is committed to delivering a great game in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.”
It’s funny because according to the Left’s own playbook, Ismail was committing cultural appropriation by being the creative lead on a project about Scandinavian culture even though he’s Arab, which should have automatically made him exempt from fulfilling the role. I guess this was karma’s way of balancing out the load, especially if we can actually get a Nord in the lead creative director position.
But it doesn’t matter anyway since Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will include LGBTQIA+ and feminist propaganda, so it won’t be true to history… just like the rest of Ubisoft’s propaganda-laden open-world clones.
