Star Wars: Squadrons Steam Forums Censored Of Criticism Toward SJWism

Electronic Arts’ Star Wars: Squadrons didn’t even get a full day’s worth of soaking in the announcement feedback before controversy struck. More specifically, censorship of the community speaking out against the forced diversity that has already ruined the appeal of the game.

Some gamers made their voices known that they didn’t like the reveal trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons. Not that there was anything wrong with the premise or the promise, but mainly with the pilots.

The two minute trailer follows a female Rebel pilot being tracked down by a Tie Advance pilot. EA makes it clear that the leftovers of BioWare Montreal, now EA Motive, are heading up development on this little side project, and basically that means all of the SJWs who worked on Mass Effect: Andromeda (who weren’t let go) is now working on Star Wars: Squadron. This was actually confirmed back in August of 2017.

Gamers instantly recognized the stench of Progressivism emanating from the trailer like some kind of foul order rising from a pile of putrid and worn-out gym socks that were used as schlong mittens after a group of hikers spent the afternoon wading through a toxic waste dump.

As you can see, the main villain is portrayed as a straight, white male (obviously).

All the heroes on the Rebel side are either freaks or women.

Heck, even the Imperial pilots are drenched in that “diversity” sauce.

Taking notice of the very obvious female-led trailer is apparently a no-no on the Steam forums, though.

User Lac3y made a thread on June 15th, 2020, writing…

“Star Wars: White Men are the BADDIES!
Oh sure you get a 1 second clip of Wedge but the only other white man was an evil Empire pilot! Every single rebel was either an ethnic minority or white female. Or was she even white? Mexican maybe…

“And how evil he looked! Scary!”

It only took two hours for Valve employee SoupSipper to dip into the conservation and lock it, claiming that the thread was “not constructive”.

The moderation team was far less accommodating to some of the other threads, and its users.

SirMixPix made a thread on the sunny afternoon of June 15th, 2020, as well, pointing out that the game had all the trappings of being another “liptard mess no one wants”, writing…

“Gonna be another libtarded mess no one wants

“All they had to do was make a modern version of tie fighter vs xwing style game…. instead its going to be another sjw libtard piece of crap. I hope I’m wrong, but then again…. this is EA…..

But the thread didn’t last but an hour before getting locked.

Users also weren’t spared the banhammer, with Abject Void getting nicked after he responded about EA getting woke and going broke.

An unceremonious end to a true patriot.

Growlanser’s thread, which was also published on June 15th, 2020, was nuked from orbit practically right after it was made.

Surprisingly, as of the writing of this article, Eldritch Husbando’s thread is still alive. There’s an archive here in case it gets nuked later on, though.

However, his criticisms are a lot more mild and more-so veer toward mild disappointment rather than outright scathing vitriol.

We’ve seen similar kinds of tactics employed with other SJW-themed games.

Mortal Kombat 11 had its Steam forums censored of criticism, the same with Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and Vampire: The Masquerade 2.

It should be quite telling to anyone with an ounce of common sense that when they see threads criticizing the SJW elements getting censored that it means to head for the hills and avoid the game like the plague. However, given that most people online have been brainwashed by the Liberal Progressive agenda, I suspect we’ll see plenty of Centrists™ defending the censorship, claiming that the gamers were “unnecessarily rude” or that they “brought politics into the discussion”, even though EA and EA Motive brought politics into the trailer.

A simple solution to the problem of people talking about things that are against the forum rules is to keep those topics out of the game itself. But for the Regressive Left, it’s all about “do as I say, not as I do”, and that mantra is on perfect display here with the censorship of the Star Wars: Squadrons Steam forum.
