VDARE, a Right-leaning news outlet, has been booted from its domain registrar. They have up until June 25th to find a new registrar after they were banned from Network Solutions.
According to a news post published on the VDARE.com website on June 17th, 2020, they were given ten days to find a new host.
As explained in the article by Lydia Brimelow…
“This Monday, June15th, Network Solutions, our domain name registrar, suddenly gave us 10 days’ notice of its intention to terminate our account, after some 20 years. It gave no specific reasons beyond alleged violations of its Acceptable Use Policy, but said ‘we consider your continued use of our services a serious issue and risk to our business and corporate reputation.’”
If they’re unable to find a new registrar by June 25th, then they will lose the VDARE.com domain name.
If they can move over to a new registrar then you’ll be able to continue to browse the website as usual, but barring that they offer some tips on how to access the website through a TOR browser if push comes to shove.
It will be a dark day in internet history when every major non-Leftist website is forced into the dark web.
Basically, people who aren’t indoctrinated by the Leftist agenda will become the minority. Soon after that, anyone who values freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and the right of association will be outlawed and hunted down like dogs.
Centrists™ will shout and mock the above paragraph, claiming “that will never happen!” but at the same time it’s already happening in Britain, with citizens posting “hate speech” being arrested every single day, as reported by The Times.
As for VDARE, they’re being backed into a corner just like 8chan, Coalfax, and Gab, each of whom have been deplatformed by their registrars. Some people suggested VDARE look into signing up with Epik.com, but take note that Epik held 9chan’s domain hostage because they felt that the imageboard didn’t practice “responsible speech”.
But this isn’t the first time that Big Tech has targeted VDARE. They also had their VDARE TV channel deplatformed from YouTube, so they know a thing or two about being on the wrong end of the censorship banhammer.
