We don’t get good news often when it comes to gaming. Usually the front page of the site is filled with news about censorship and bans, but this time time around there’s actually some good news for once: Alicesoft announced that they will be personally translating Evenicle 2 for release in English on the Steam store.
The news came courtesy of a tweet on July 13th, 2020.
We’re happy to announce we’re working on the English localization of Evenicle 2! Coming soon for digital download, for the delight of all our English speaking Hannies! But since we know you’d never be satisfied with a simple ‘coming soon’… pic.twitter.com/oFE7U27ucY

Not only that but the free trial demo is coming soon to Steam, titled Evenicle 2: Clinical Trial Edition.
The Steam store page is currently live, with a “coming soon” for the release date of the demo.
They also confirmed that the release date will be arriving very soon.

They do, however, concede that the trial is censored with mosaics, so that’s something to consider.
Some gamers are a little leery about whether or not the R18+ version of the game will be allowed on Steam given the way things have gone in recent times. Others are more miffed about the mosaic censorship.
It’s tough to tell right now if only the trial version will be censored and the full game will be uncensored or if both versions will be censored. However, we’ll have to wait to find out how this all plays out as the full version of the English release draws near.
(Thanks for the news tip Suazfu)
