Censorship continues to escalate, this time the Tencent owned property from Riot Games – who is on the Traitors of America master list – League of Legends, is back in the spotlight for yet more censorship. Reportedly, more of the promotional splash art for the game has been censored.
Sankaku Complex picked up the news from Twitter user PixelButts, who posted comparison shots of the censorship for the Chinese version of League of Legends, which consists of various types of coverage for the female characters.
In the main image you can see that an entire bodice was added to cover the midriff, along with the additional embellishment of frills to slightly hide the cleavage.
Jinx, alternatively, gets to keep her bare, tattooed abdomen, but she loses what little cleavage is exposed between her teeny, weeny mosquito bites.

Janna gets a huge downgrade, with her two-piece bikini-armor being completely covered. Her entire mid-section gets covered, along with her cleavage, and an extra pelvic flap was added to hide her crotch area and part of her thighs.

Others underwent major revisions, such as Ice Drake Shyvana, which included having her midriff, cleavage, and even her weapons modified for some odd reason.

Apparently navels are too much, too, with the cowgirl skin for Miss Fortune getting a do-over so that her shirt is pulled down lower to keep the bellybutton from being exposed.

Even Demon Vi wasn’t safe from the censorship, with her minuscule amount of cleavage being covered up in the image for the skin.

But this is all standard fare in [current year].
Censorship just keeps escalating, and it will affect every region and nearly every game at the current clip. It won’t slow down and there’s no stopping it at this point.
As pointed out by Sankaku Complex, too many Centrists™ have enabled companies to accommodate not only ideological censorship from companies like Sony, but also moral censorship from state parties such as the CCP.
Gaming and creativity is lost.
