[Update 7/24/2020:] Valve is now perma-banning users from Steam who mocked Black Lives Matter.
[Original article:] Back in June of 2018, Valve explicitly stated that anything “illegal or straight up trolling” would be banned from the Steam store. Yet, two years later they’ve allowed Social Justice Rogue’s Black Lives Matter onto the Steam store for $0.99, with the software being nothing more than eight minutes of trolling on a single black screen before it kicks you out. Basically, Valve reneged on one of the few clarified rules they laid down in order to promote a company using a domestic terrorist organization for profit… and trolling.
The non-game is basically just eight minutes and 46 seconds, the time they allege that it took for George Floyd to pass, even though it’s been reported that the officers didn’t kill George Floyd, an overdose did.
For those of you who don’t know, Floyd was saying he “couldn’t breathe” before he even made it to the ground, as detailed in the transcript from the bodycam footage taken from J. Alexander Kuenng, who wasn’t even white. You can read the full transcript over on the Star Tribune.
Both The Gateway Pundit and Natural News also reiterated how Floyd had overdosed on Fentanyl, which is one of the most deadly drugs around. He was literally a dead man walking.
Nevertheless, the description of the store page for the propaganda troll title reads…
“Black Lives Matter. is an extremely short, extremely minimalist “not-game” designed to evoke a sense of introspection in the player in regards to the recent tragedies happening in America. It’s also a statement: silence is complacency, and being able ignore injustice is a massive privilege. We all have a responsibility to—at the very least—sit and reflect on the issues facing our world today, even if that means taking a few minutes out of time we’d otherwise spend playing games.”
Thankfully, most gamers have thumbs down the title and mocked it heavily in the review section, proving that not everyone is as gullible as the uneducated Liberals from Democrat-ran cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, or Minneapolis.
Thankfully, as you can see, many users are taking the opportunity to reveal that blacks commit the most crime in the United States, kill the most people per capita, and that black on white crime vastly outweighs white on black crime by a severe magnitude.
Centrists™ will likely try to justify or excuse this piece of propaganda being on Steam as they usually do, likely citing that it passed by Valve’s curators and they didn’t know that it existed, but given what we know now as to how Valve curates and bans games on Steam, it’s not possible for the game to be “blindly” approved.
Visual novel developers who have had their games banned note that they oftentimes have their titles banned once it comes time for Valve to review the store page. AppIDs are usually created months before, and as the game nears release or is entering into the marketing and promotion phase, developers will submit the promotional material, titles, banners, and screenshots for approval from the software curators at Valve. It’s in this process that appIDs are approved or banned, with many on the Waifu Holocaust list ending up on the banned side of the border.
What this mean is that Valve deliberately allowed this trolling piece of propaganda onto the Steam store. In other words, the game’s release was on Steam was not an oversight on Valve’s part.
In fact, if you check the SteamDB entry, the appID first appeared on June 16th, 2020, with the store information uploaded on July 6th, 2020. It was then approved for release and given a July 20th, 2020 launch date.
Basically, this just shows that Valve is okay with politically divisive trolling apps, just the same as they’re okay with discriminating against Asian indie developers.
