Various light novels have been removed from Amazon, and as is typical from most Centrists™, they jumped to the conclusion that it must have been a “mistake” or someone must have mass-reported the light novels and an automated system had them removed. This has been a talking point from Centrists™ for years regarding censorship. However, the distributor for one of the light novels that were removed from Amazon came out and confirmed that Amazon simply had the novels banned on their own accord. There was never any glitches, hiccups, or automated report systems malfunctioning. Amazon chose to censor the books because they didn’t want people buying them from their outlet.
The news comes courtesy of Yen Press, the distributor for mangas and light novels, who confirmed that No Game, No Life was removed from Amazon deliberately. The tweet was published on July 14th, 2020.
Sadly, we have confirmed with Amazon that they have opted to remove our No Game No Life titles from their platform.
Happily, there are other retailers, both physical and digital, that are thrilled to help you support for these titles in the form of cash exchanged for goods! pic.twitter.com/xDbXGFvyBs

You’re not out of luck, though. You can still purchase No Game, No Life and other visual novels or light novels that were banned from Amazon.
They did a follow-up tweet to help concerned novel readers find alternatives in which to purchase the books either in digital or physical format.
By way of example, check out @BOOKWALKER_GL if you want to download and read in a matter of seconds, or if you want to treasure these books on your shelves, @rightstufanime has you covered!

If you want to read the books digitally, you can do so from over on Book Walker.
Alternatively, you can purchase physical copies of the books fr5om over on Rightstuf Anime.
This won’t end here.
This will keep escalating. More novels, manga, visual novels, figurines and games will be censored or banned.
WE TRIED TO WARN YOU!
There are still people ignorant as to what’s going on commenting in the Twitter thread asking “Why is this happening?”
The reality is that this is the Cultural Marxists making their move. They’re slowly weeding out what they don’t want you to know, to read, to view, to enjoy. They’ll continue to dwindle down and stifle expression that don’t fit within their narrow purview of the world in order to expand and spread their sociopolitical ideology.
In other words, they’re enacting Cultural Communism.
We’re already seeing it happen aggressively in comic books and video games, with beautiful women being axed out or censored and LGBTQIA+ and POCker-heavy relationships being foisted onto fans, even via retroactive retcons.
For the properties that refuse to bend to the will of the identity politicians, those properties will simply be banned, like what happened to games like Omega Labyrinth Z or Super Seducer, or heck any game on the Waifu Holocaust list.
Expect more games, novels, and manga to get censored. Amazon has been digitally burning books for a while, and it started with books people claimed was “Nazi propaganda”. But like all forms of censorship, the book burning began expanding into other areas, and that now includes fictional Japanese material.
