Kalmia8 and MangaGamer’s Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome came out back in September of 2017. It’s a romantic comedy visual novel about an angry, shy, misanthropic girl who catches the eye of two prolific photographers who find her as a musing inspiration for their work. The duo attempt to take the school curmudgeon, Ema Tachibana, and turn her into a photogenic superstar.
Like many visual novels out there, the Steam version of Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome is censored from top to bottom, with all of the H-scenes removed and the lovemaking reduced to PG-13 fanfare. For gamers who want the full, uncensored schlock that happens between Ema and her two romantic options, Miki and Saito, you can download the free uncensored patch right now from the MangaGamer download page.
It’s pretty easy to get your hands on it, just enter your date of birth, grab the file and download it to the folder where you have Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome installed.
The installation instructions are pretty simple, as laid out by the good folks on Steam Uncensored. Simply extract the contents of the patch to the game folder located in: steamapps/common/Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome/
Once the files are in place, boot up the game and the main menu should have a small text indicating that the H-version of Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome has been activated.
Now, as you read through the visual novel, when you encounter those sequences where it’s time to see Ema strip down and get serious… well, things very serious.
Unfortunately developers have been unable to post up uncensored patches onto the Steam store after Valve was forced to prohibit them from doing so under the threat of lawmakers getting involved. It occurred after various Christian groups got together and pressured the company to clean up its act after claiming that Valve was selling pornography to 30 million children.
Thankfully, gamers have been keeping a keen eye on various outlets offering the uncensored patches in order to inform the rest of the community about their availability. So if you’re one of the people who purchased the Steam version of Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome but you wanted the adult version of the game, the patch is currently available. You can learn more about the game by hitting up the Steam store page.
