Unknown Worlds has revealed a haunting new biome for Subnautica 2, positioning the deep-sea area as the most terrifying environment in the franchise to date.
The upcoming sequel introduces a completely fresh story arc alongside an overhauled Leviathan designed to hunt players across pitch-black oceanic depths.
Exploration tools are also getting upgraded, including an unconventional submarine equipped with articulated arms and legs to navigate jagged abyssal terrain.
Base builders will also see the welcome return of classic round habitat modules when the aquatic survival title eventually launches into early access.
