Duck Season PC is the latest offering by developer/publisher Stress Level Zero. The game was released on June 17th 2019, in what the developers are calling a surprise launch. This is a re-release of their VR game Duck Season but in a non VR format.
Duck Season PC popped up on the Steam store without warning but fans of the original version were quick to notice hints of this game being worked on months ago. A trailer for Duck Season PC was also published to YouTube the same day the game went live with none of the pre-launch build up gamers are used to seeing these days. However, as noted previously, there have been hints within Duck Season that this game was in the works.
Developer Stress Level Zero was not content to simply transfer the game from a VR experience to a standard one. Rather, in another shocking move, Stress Level Zero has added some additional content to this version of the game. This new content adds back a bit of mystery to this game. This is good because mystery is the real appeal to a game like this. If you already own Duck Season there is no reason to fret that you will miss out on this new content. According to Stress Level Zero this additional content will be patched into Duck Season at a later date.
Those interested in Duck Season now have another chance to enjoy this bizarre game. At just $9.99, Duck Season PC will cost you just around half the price of Duck Season. Although half the price, you will still get the complete Duck Season experience, minus the VR obviously. Savvy shoppers can get 10% off the price of Duck Season PC if they purchase the game by June 24th 2019. Despite this cheap price, there may not be enough meat to this game to justify a purchase.
