Wizards Of The Coast Has Seven To Eight Games Lined Up For The Next Few Years

At The Game Awards 2019, a place where many soy sipping social injustice keyboard warriors showed up, Wizards of the Coast and Tuque Games unveiled Dark Alliance. However, a day later, the head of the former company Chris Cocks revealed that there are seven to eight games to release in the next few years.

In other words, there will be seven to eight games that will likely load people up with current year propaganda. And if Wizards of the Coast past holds any indication as to what we’ll get, buckle up and get ready.

Back in June of this year, Dungeons & Dragons game designer Kate Welch tweeted that she had convinced all of the other game designers at Wizards of the Coast to read through a racist Tumblr blog themed around race, ethnicity, and skin color.

In addition to the above, Welch says that the racist Tumblr blog somehow is a useful piece for writing “ethnically diverse” characters:

got all the designers at the @Wizards_DnD office hooked on this incredible blog about writing racially- and ethnically-diverse characters, SUCH a resource: https://t.co/e8oFDeD6Hq

Moreover, I should explain that Cocks made mention of these seven to eight games coming to gamers and fans alike in the next few years to website gamesindustry.biz, which Tuque Games’ Dark Alliance sits in the “mid-sized project category.”

Sadly, not much is known about these seven to eight games besides that one is by Tuque Games. So we don’t know if they are double-A or triple-A games, but I can guarantee you that current year nonsense will be in all of them due to Welch’s Tumblr post.

Lastly, I don’t expect anything groundbreaking from these less than eight titles, but you can look for the slew of games to release from 2020 to 2023, with the first of them being Dark Alliance.
