It looks like the same thing that happened to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake has happened to Trials of Mana in that a demo listing for the latter has surfaced. Although a demo isn’t out right now, it does mean that one-day folks will be able to take the upcoming JRPG for a free spin.
With Square Enix toning down Angela’s Pink Typhoon Attack from the OG version, there’s no telling what else the company has censored. However, we might find out soon if the gamstat.com leak of Trials of Mana demo is as real as the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo leak.
It’s unclear if the full demo will leak like Final Fantasy VII Remake demo where over 30 minutes of gameplay footage hit the web or if it will just stay in hiding? However it goes, it looks like fans will one day see loads of gameplay sometime this year.
We know this as per siliconera.com, which covered the PlayStation tracking portal. Moreover, the publication site posted up images of the forthcoming demo and we have some for you as seen below:
The website also notes that the three icons shown represent one for the game itself, and the others are for two demos.
In addition to the above, they confirm that America, Europe, Japan, and Asia will one day gain access to the demo. I should note that the icon for the latter region shows that “Traditional Chinese” will be used.
Right now, we’ll see a week from now if a Final Fantasy VII Remake demo case happens where the full thing leaks offering gamers a nice look at gameplay, and whether or not there are any revisions or censorship at play.
Until then, you can expect Trials of Mana to launch for PC via Steam, PS4, and Switch on April 24th, 2020.
