Chris Cibnall and BBC seem intent on killing the legacy of Doctor Who, even in the face of being threatened with mandatory licensing fees being defenestrated. The latest antics – following the black female incarnation of the Doctor – sees a retroactive continuity being made to the lore so that the Doctor originated as a BAME.
What is a “BAME”? Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic.
It’s almost equivalent to the Liberal’s use of POCker.
Anyway, The Doc’s ethnic origins is now canon. BBC has been plastering this fact all over social media, including uploading a clip on the Doctor Who YouTube channel on March 2nd, 2020 making it known that the Doc was a POC.
Not only is the Doc a POC, but they also rewrote the lore so that they could keep milking the series. The Time Lords originally limited the regeneration to only 12, but since they made Doctor Who the Timeless Child, it means that he/it/she/whatever can regenerate an innumerable amount of times, practically making the Doc immortal.
The danger and intrigue surrounding the madman in a paradoxical box has all been erased so that it’s an immortal POCker in a paradoxical box.
But these regressive changes to the show have been netting BBC some seriously negative reactions from fans. The votes on YouTube tell one story…

But the actual ratings speak volumes.
Cosmic Book News reported that only 3.78 million tuned in for the season 12 finale.
For a comparison, season 10’s finale saw 5.32 million tune in to watch how that things wrapped up back in 2018.
So over a two year period they lost 29% of their viewership for the season 12 finale.
I can’t imagine things picking up or getting better for season 13, and with parliament looking to abolish the BBC license fee in favor of a subscription fee, as reported by the Independent, then things could get real bad, real fast for the BBC.
I also have a hard time imagining anyone in their right mind willingly paying a subscription fee for propaganda designed to indoctrinate. If the subscription does come to pass then we could see the end of the BBC if enough people opt out of paying to keep the agitprop-driven network in operation.
