MangaGamer announced that Waffle’s latest entry in the highly celebrated comedic sex romp, Funbag Fantasy, has arrived on both the MangaGamer storefront and on Steam for $44.99. It seems like a steep price, but they’re planning on running a 10% off discount during the first week of release.
However, they attempt to justify the price of entry given that the raunchy visual novel contains more than 400 different CG images and multiple variations of those images for gamers to enjoy.
The story centers around the Kingdom of Hillsland, taking place five years after the events of Funbag Fantasy Sideboob Story. Players assume the role of a naked man named Mask, who has no memories of how he got to Hillsland, and manages to find himself jailed in Zorro Prison.
He’s given an opportunity to redeem himself by going on a suicide mission to Boobshire where he needs to dispense of a seemingly unconquerable monster in order to secure his freedom. Along the way he encounters lots of big boobs and takes a journey in, around, and on them, much to his heart’s desire.
Nearly an hour’s worth of gameplay content was showcased in a video that was miraculously uploaded to YouTube by Shattered Controllers. You can check it out below.
I’m still amazed that MangaGamer was able to squeeze the R18+ version of the series onto Steam. Many other developers are far less confident with such a risk, given that usually once your game gets banned your game stays banned.
Some people have suggested that the reason for Valve allowing the series on Steam is because all the maidens are well-endowed and none of them can be mistaken for lolis. Then again, My Bullied Bride also had a lead female character with milk cannons and that didn’t stop it from ending up on the Waifu Holocaust banned game list.
