Sony Purchases 5% Stake In Chinese Gaming Outfit Bilibili For $400 Million

Sony’s plan to invade video games and anime, corrupting the industries and changing them into a malformed sculpture hewn out of deceit and Leftist degeneration continues. This time around the Chinese media outfit and mobile gaming platform, Bilibili, was targeted by Sony’s tactically tainted tendrils.

GamesIndustry.biz picked up the news from an announcement by Sony Corporation and Bilibili, where they explained in the article that Sony has invested more than $400 million into the company and picked up a 5% stake in its operations…

“The two companies will also explore potential partnerships ‘within the area of entertainment business in the Chinese market, including anime and mobile games.’”

Bilibili is the same company that was involved with the ban on My Hero Acdemia in China, as well as those responsible for helping Blizzard squelch the spread of what happened to Blitzchung by enforcing widespread censorship of the matter.

Bilibili is certainly not your friend, but having Sony buy a stake in the company means that an enemy of anime and gaming is using an enemy against freedom to further subvert the industries you love.

For those of you who don’t know, Sony has been forcing censorship policies on PlayStation games, and also took control of Funimation, another outfit that has been using their localizers to alter the translations of Japanese anime to push their own Liberal Progressive agenda.

Now Sony is joining with Bilibili and it’s unlikely that things will get better for gamers at all.

In fact, Bilibili CEO Rui Chen explained in the announcement…

“The strategic investment and business cooperation further align our goals to bring best-in-class content offerings and services to our users, as we increase our domestic stronghold in animation and mobile games. We look forward to joining efforts on a broader scale to fulfill the tremendous and growing entertainment needs in China.”

That doesn’t sound promising, especially given how censorious China is when it comes to media.
